Myriad Reality

My pastor gave this man (who was related to his wife) a position in the church, despite doing no research on him. This man apparently has a horrible history and has torn many families apart. The pastor eventually didn't let him stay, but later, sent an email to the board venting his frustrations, which got leaked. This caused the youth pastor and the web arts director to resign and leave the church. There's been a huge uproar, almost splitting the church. Many people wanted the pastor to resign, and the board even contemplated having a vote of confidence (that may still happen). The pastor apologized during church today, but a lot of people are hurt over all of it, and my parents are especially upset. I've almost got my parents on board with the idea of allowing me to continue going there, even if they left, so I'm not too worried about being forced away, but there are so many issues involved, and the youth pastor that everyone loved is still gone. A lot is broken, and needs to be repaired.
