Light watched as the others attempted attack after attack on Taylor, each one not having much effect. with all the attacks thrown at everyone, the only thing he had gotten was a scratch. "Guess I should do that... Poor guy though." Light thought to herself, formulating a plan.
Pulling out another hole, Light jumped in and popped out from the ceiling, attempting to land on David and give him a nice tight bear hug. If she didn't make him majorly uncomfortable, prolonged exposure to her shifted reality would also eventually turn Taylor into a cartoon as well, but without any of the benefits. And even longer loss of reality would cause him to disappear entirely. though Light didn't know if she could hold onto him for that long as she was trying.
And barring a miss, she'd keep dropping from different points in the ceiling til she got a grab.
Anyone know where the Patriarch's gone?No clue. Wanna skip him if he keeps taking so long to post? We gotta get Arc 2 done so we can start arc 3.
Be careful when controlling primal forces. You can very easily break any character that is in control of a primal force.
Should I clarify all the benefits that MC gets by being made of energy or no?
MC found the physical plane curious. Lots of items, lots of new sensations, and yet the people here seemed to covet other physical items. This worked to his advantage, as while no one saw him as an energy being, making sure to wear a physical robe, gloves, wear a mask, and hide his floating hand under his robe, MC was usually mistaken as a somewhat eccentric one armed fleshling.
He was having fun conjuring various items to people on the street and gauging their reactions. From air filled sacks called Balloons to hunks of iron or even sharp sticks of metal called swords, MC got lots of varied reactions. After a bit he could hear sirens in the distance, and a little while after he saw some sort of flying disk in the air. Moving towards the commotion, curious as to what it could be, MC found a few aliens firing energy weapons at people, causing all sorts of random effects.
He was enjoying the show as people grew weird appendages or the like, until an alien mistakenly fired on him. It didn't do anything, but it did burn off his robes, revealing his true form. "Ok, now people are going to panic. Good job, here have a portal!" He said as he conjured a portal above and below the alien, the poor thing in an endless fall screaming. His comrades came to see what the commotion was, but MC had already moved to the rooftops. Before the alien's comrades could save him from the endless fall, MC shot out another portal, flinging the falling alien into his comrades like a bullet, knocking them out.
"Well well. Guess they're hostile. Well, I'll give them a couple chances. Fleshlings are so fragile." He said as he continued towards the center of the city where it seemed the biggest commotion were. Forgoing his disguise, MC made his way there by conjuring long range portals in the air, gravity having a much less pronounced effect on him compared to the fleshlings.
Upon reaching the center of the city, MC found himself hovering near the UFO which was dispatching more and more aliens. Wanting a bit of fun, MC conjured a portal near the landing bay, and another on the ship's laser. Things would be fun if they were truely hostile.
"I dunno if it works like that." Light said at his(alto) plan. "I'll try, but don't be shocked if ti doesn't work." She then heard the name of the guy they were fighting coming from his mouth as the guy who gave her a plan of attack went to distract him.
Fiddling around under her dress, Light after a few attempts, found out where she pulled the previous hole from and pulled another one. She then fiddled around with it, the big bad mostly being distracted, and found that until she placed it on the ground, it had the same properties as rubber and didn't have any portal properties at all. However when she threw it at a surface, she could jump through it no problem, and appeared wherever she wanted as long as she focused on that spot.
"Well, this is nifty. No more running!" Light said when she tested out the hole a bit. Grabbing another, she prepared herself for the plan, egging on Taylor with rude jokes about his name or initials.
Light's hammer had no visible impact on the guy she was attacking, causing the force of her blow to come back at her making her body to violently vibrate before she was sent into a nearby wall by a backhand from her opponent. "I really should learn this guys name or something. Can't do any battlecrys without knowing his name." Light said to herself as she popped out of the wall. Before the followup energy blast could hit her though, she found herself with some sort of spear in her stomach attached to a chain that pulled her out of the way of the blast and into a wave of cold that turned her blue due to the sudden temperature change.
When she stopped, she found herself next to the guy who had called everyone there. Pulling the spear like thing out of her stomach and shaking off the chills, she muttered. "I'm in a fight with people that I don't know. No names, nada. yay?" She then waited to hear the guys plan as she scratched where the hookshot had hit her earlier.
when is the IC going up?
A would do, I think, if only due to her battle prowess.Yeah, she isn't going to be blowing up city blocks anytime soon. She is a 1v1 monster though, so beware S and SS :P
