And Light Is a bit crazy, she doesn't have much of a concept of fear because nothing can really kill her so far, and so far shes only been trapped in a vacuum so shes pretty much assuming people are stupid when it comes to fighting her.

She could hear faint whispers in her head, but she ignored them, she was already crazy enough as is.

Should've said he bounced the laser beam off a nearby lamp post or car or something, as Patel was right at the entrance. You can't get a shot like that if someone is less than a meter in front of the door without shenanigans or a rail cannon. Thats what confused me.
Also I can just have Light jump off the roof and bam, shes right next to the guy ready to fight. Why would she even bother running through the building?
@Archmage MC You mention that you're worried about the shikai I described, but do you mind if I ask what in particular worries you about it? I put a number of prohibitions on it to make it reasonable, but is there something abusive about it that I'm not thinking of? Criticisms and suggestions are welcome.
Well Portals or anything that meddles with a fundamental of physics like time or Space are inherently broken. whats stopping your character from getting people into a monologue like whats normal in anime, then just putting a rock inside their brain, instantly killing pretty much anything without 682 or deadpool regeneration?
Stuff like that.

@Archmage MC sorry but it will be at least for the first arc of this story after it though you may be accepted by the visors but that's iffy
Eh, the beauty of being a GM and making your own story is you can make a world of greys like the real world. IE, not all hollows are evil, not all soul reapers are good, and they have different morals and goals. Sure stigmas will segregate them, but whos to say that a hollow can't be friendly? Easy way to circumvent the eating human souls bit is making it so the hollow spent most of their time in hell and ate those souls instead or something.
Anyway, more worried about the two power sets than the origin.
