The death of Zer0 and Gauge didn't shake up Blazermate all that much, which felt almost odd to her. She knew she should be feeling at least a little bit of loss over a few teammates dying to MegaDragonBowser. But her instincts as a medabot, a being made to fight and defeat others to claim their power, alongside the mercenary thoughts of Dell Conagher, combined to give her a calm complexion. "Be careful of engaging in melee range fellas! Hes really strong there!" She said, as if that wasn't obvious to everyone in the room considering what happened.
Alongside the fury that MegaDragonBowser showed and the pride the monster took in destroying two of their allies, he also shot a massive fireball at Blazermate's sentry, clearly annoyed at how it was constantly peppering him with bullets, followed by a shockwave ground slam attack. She jumped and hovered over the shockwave attack, but since Blazermate was far away from her sentry, she let it go down in a blaze of glory. She happy that the fireball went towards something she could just build again, instead of another ally at least. Blazermate noticed that to dodge the shockwave attack, Ratchet was riding his robot companion. And in true medabot pride, Ratchet gathered the powers of their fallen allies to distribute between himself and the courier.
Looking around the battlefield, Blazermate attched her beam to Tora as he seemed to be ploting someone as she was trying to collect more scrap for another sentry gun. Considering what happened to Zer0, she wasn't about to go into melee range of that monster. Plus another sentry might do wonders, if it would eat another huge fireball attack like the previous one did. While she was scavaging around, she heard a series of explosive attacks come from MegaDragonBowser's person. Apparently a few more of her allies that hadn't came in the first wave were arriving now, which reminded her. Where was Linkle and that girl they had met under the Master of Master's mushroom thing?
I always restrict my faceclaims and in my experience I have never had difficulty recruiting for an RP. If 'cartoon-ish' faceclaims don't match the tone and setting then I respect the GM for restricting them. If that's something that doesn't appeal to you as a player it makes more sense to move on then to try and force the GM to tailor to you. There's plenty of other RPers on this site and there's plenty of other games, if one opportunity doesn't work out, it doesn't take long for another to appear.
I'm only suggesting to him how to easily get a lot of RPers with a recruit message. No need to get personal.
Unless you remove your restriction on face claims, your going to have trouble recruiting for that RP. A lot of the superhero RP players aren't going to play if you don't allow cartoon-ish faceclaims like a picture of batman or something.
A creeping dark mist came over the surface of the swamp as the party made its way deeper and deeper. Willow wasn't too worried about the smoke, but a comment from flint really got her a bit nervous. "Agreed Flint, If it is a logia,, and we can't counter it, all we can do is run." willlow said, watching as the cloud came closer.
Soon shots came out of the cloud. Thankfully it was very easy for Willow to dodge any that came her way, if any even did due to her small size. Having an idea, she conjured an orb of Fairy Fire and sent it into the mist as the new dragon member also did his best co try to clear the mist away. Even if he couldn't do anything, Willow's Fairy Fire should reveal something.
This MegaDragonBowser wasn't as destructive as Blazermate thought he'd be considering what he looked like. Sure he could throw any of her teammates around with his physical strength, but beyond that he didn't seem to do all that much as long as everyone kept their distance. Especially considering how just... wasn't doing all that much damage. Din could heal up all the lightly damaged people, and with Blazermate healing all the ones who are getting hit by MegaDragonBowser, he just wasn't being the threat he came off to be.
But at least the big bruiser was making an attempt. Tossing off and lighting Gauge's Deathtrap robot and throwing it at Blazermate and her sentry was at least a neat attempt. It did force Blazermate to pick up her sentry and try to dodge the flaming robot, but she didn't have to move much as Tora shield smashed the giant robot up and away from her encampment. When she noticed this, she redeployed her sentry and continued building it as MegaDragonBowser was incapacitated by all the magic being flung his way.
This gave her enough time to fully upgrade her sentry to level 3. Once it was fully upgraded, it beeped three times in quick succession, before locking onto MegaDragonBowser and started pelting him with its twin miniguns and its new weapon, a quad rocket launcher. With her sentry fully upgraded, she decided to leave its cover and come within healing range of the party, healing up whoever was the most injured. She watched as her team unloaded on the fake bowser, others from the hallway joining the frey. "Keep it up! He is taking damage from all of our punishment!" Blazermate said. She was still unable to tell where MegaDragonBowser's weakpoints were, but at least she could tell he wasn't doing so hot.
No, I mean Linkle isn't in this fight. You probably meant somebody else there.
oh, I got my info from this on who was shot by the courier's friendly fire.
With a flourish, the Courier stood up in a twist, facing the rest of his comrades, unholstering his revolver in the process. He pointed the gun upward toward Mario, and the plumber’s newly acquired water pack, and let loose a shot from the powerful magnum. The bullet was aimed for Mario’s torso in what would appear to be a debilitating, potentially lethal, shot. By all accounts, Courier Six had gone turncoat, switching sides to what seemed the more powerful team. Another shot rang out, this one aimed for Blazermate’s cranial unit. Then a third shot headed straight for Linkle’s gut!
@Gentlemanvaultboy She spreads healing according to who is most damaged. Light healing is more Din's forte (Or until Blazermate gets her dispenser) and Linkle isn't as badly hurt as some others thanks to the courier's special ability. But if you need healing, you can ask.
Considering this was a fight against a big boss, Blazermate wasn't too surprised at how hectic the battle was going. Magic and fire flying, plants coming out of the ground, and bullets flying. What she didn't expect was the Courier to shoot her between the eyes at random while in the air healing DK, knocking her for a loop and causing her to fall the 4 or so feet she was hovering. With a flourish, Blazermate flipped up like you'd see in an anime, her medibeam hand being used to heal herself. "What in sam hill is wrong with you, boy?" She said angerly, her Engineer accent coming out in full force. Thankfully Zer0 sort of quelled her anger at being targted by shooting the courier for her, and apparently causing Dragon Bowser a bit of... pain? Not much, but, it was something.
Thanks to the efforts of comrades both new and old, almost everyone besides a kid with a cape and pistol was freed from their cages. but Dragon bowser didn't appreciate being damaged from Zer0's shot and the magic being thrown around. With a bellow, the giant dragon turtle got into his massive shell and spun around the room, eventually crashing into a wall as he tried to do some damage. Blazermate was able to easily dodge this attach by just jumping high and hovering in the air. As she surveyed the battlefield, she saw Tora and his ally attempt to attack MegaDragonBowser but fail miserably, while Bowser tried his hand at fighting the monster and was also casually thrown out of the room, back to where they had entered.
"This is a tough one, although he doesn't seem to do much beyond what our bowser does..." Blazermate thought to herself. When she saw the friend hearts going out to the captives, she had an idea. Landing away and out of sight of MegaDragonBowser, she pulled out a toolbox and began to construct a sentry. With MegaDraognBowser and only a few others being under Galeem's control, the sentry would be much more helpful. As she was constructing the sentry, The Courier came running up to Blazermate, firing a shot that missed. But before she could wind up a punch on the approaching cowboy, he blurted out his plan and why he had shot Blazermate and a few other allies.
She let out a sigh, telling the courier. "Fiiine. But I've also gotta heal everyone else." So far she had her medibeam on herself, as while she could heal herself, it wasn't as effective as healing others. Using one hand to heal, and the other to build the sentry, she gave the Courier a bit of healing. But considering the relative healthiness of everyone who wasn't the courier or bowser, the latter she couldn't tell because she couldn't see him, she was able to put more of her effort into building the sentry and quickly got it to level 2.
With two audible beeps, the sentry locked onto MegaDragonBowser and fired round after round at him with its twin chainguns, never stopping or missing as it had the big guy in its sights. Blazermate, much like she did before, hid behind her new bit of cover while hitting it with her hand to refill its ammo and potentially get it to level 3, while using her other hand to heal the injured, which at this point was mostly the courier and the people in cages. Linkle and Mario weren't nearly as damaged, the courier's bullets apparently doing very little to them in the grand scheme of things.
Still working on her. Dunno if I should add more sections since shes a solo droid.
As a player, what is your preferred writing level? Several paragraphs
Is grammar and depth of writing important to you? I tend to try for depth and good grammar, but I do also rely a lot on spell check.
Are there any writing subjects you particularly enjoy exploring? Character development and growth, usually through fun scenarios.
Is there anything you really dislike and want to avoid like the plague? Droid memory wipes, this just erases all character development. Droid slicing CAN work, but should be avoided due to the fact it takes control away.
Is there something you are uncomfortable with happening to your character? Besides the whole them dying thing, probably unfair combat. And by unfair, I mean powergaming/doing the impossible/ext...
Do you have any short-term or long-term goals with this character? Short term: to be a renowned bounty hunter or scoundrel and make lots of credits for upgrades. Oh, and acquire a shield generator. She'll need to explore this ever present world to figure out what her purpose will be, besides upgrading herself over and over. Long Term: Constantly upgrade my character until shes eventually basically a dark trooper MK3+ with better equipment. Maybe find a hunting buddy, who knows? The world changes, and she is programmed to change and evolve with it.

Standard model or modified design: Heavily modified HK unit Programmed personality: Quirky, Chipper Known flaws: Due to the experimental nature of Eclipsa, she can be very glitchy and have parts seize up or malfunction at random. Restraining bolt: Not Attached
Detailed appearance. Imagery insufficient.
Eclipsa looks like a modified dark grey HK series droid with a slightly bulkier body frame, Her right arm looks normal, but her left arm has a built in chemical sprayer/Carbonite sprayer. She also wears a pink bow thats clipped to her head when she isn't doing any assassination jobs.
Details on programmed features.
Eclipsa's programming makes her evolve at a greatly accelerated rate, with her programming compelling her to constantly upgrade and improve at all times. Thanks to this, she is able to think much more freely than most droids and her constantly evolving systems make her difficult to slice. Her evolution programming allows her to adapt other droid tech into herself after enough experimentation with her new component. Alongside her assassination protocols, she has advanced slicing protocols that let her slice other droids.
Description of all installed hardware modules.
Evolution Droid AI - Eclipsa is programmed to constantly improve and evolve. This makes her AI both highly advanced, and a bit glitchy. She can adapt on the fly, and reprogram herself in order to evolve or incorporate new technology. Due to her evolving programming she is very hard to slice, but this also makes recent upgrades unstable as she adapt her programming to work with them Assassination Protocols - Assassination protocols give Eclipsa extensive knowledge on how to kill her target and the best way to do so. These protocols allow Eclipsa to act as well. Slicing Protocols - Advanced slicing protocols allows Eclipsa to slice lesser droids. Slicing Spike - Cannibalized from an Astromech, Eclipsa has an interface spike that lets her use astromech droid ports. Mimicry Module - Allows Eclipsa to mimic the voice of someone she has recently heard. Protocol Vocabulary Module - Cannibalized from a protocol droid, Eclipsa can understand and speak any language a protocol droid can. Custom Chemical Sprayer - A chemical sprayer with various attachments allowing it to act as a pressurized sprayer, Gas sprayer, flamethrower, or a carbonite projector attachment. Chemical tank can be easily swapped with no issue. Military Optics - Optics include an infrared and nightvision mode.
Equipment not permanently attached to Chassis/limbs.
Personality analysis and details on memory wipe patterns.
Eclipsa is very very 'quirky'. She will tend to try to socialize like an organic race while still incorporating a bit of droid vernacular. She tends to be a bit unstable and while her overall personality is chipper, she has very little in the way of morals, and will casually harm or murder people who try to abduct or mess with her. She is known to hold grudges, but also remember those that are kind to her and will honor deals.
Modifications from base model.
Left arm has a chemical thrower built into it with various attachments that allow it to do a pressurized spray, a gas spray, a flamethrower attachment, a carbonie projector attachment, and an easy access tank swap to change the chemicals being used on the fly. Her right arm is fairly standard to allow external weapon use. The body is a bit bigger than normal, to allow future upgrading and incorporation of other droid parts such as an astromech slicing spike and a protocol droid vocabulary module. Her head looks fairly standard for an HK unit, with a few mods for infrared and nightvision optics. Her body lacks a power button or a memory wipe button, she instead uses a complex internal mechanism to turn herself on and off. And of course her programming is entirely experimental, allowing her to upgrade herself as she sees fit.
Uses for which the droid is of limited or no use.
Due to having an HK model base, moving through republic space is very tricky. Additionally her experimental nature makes her prone to glitches and instability from time to time.
Purpose for droid.
To evolve and potentially become a powerful weapon for the Empire. Hopefully a droid of her design will help progress droid technology faster for the Empire.
Past achievements.
Successfully incorporating other droid tech. Successfully bringing in the bounty of a few smugglers who thought she would be an easy mark, alongside the ship they so generously left her with upon their departure.
Past failures.
<None for now>

Evolution Class 01 Imperial Prototype Assassin (EC1 - IPA) or "Eclipsa" as she calls herself is an escaped experimental droid design made by the empire in order to get a leg up over the republic. With a wave of super adaptive, extremely intelligent assassination droids under the command of the empire, they could have an unstoppable army that would allow them to conquer the galaxy. Of course the problem with being in the empire are there are sith who are constantly trying to gain power over each other, and when one of these sith learn of a new super droid based on the systems found on Belsavis, they would want to have that power over their rivals. And before her loyalty programming could be fully complete, she broke out of the facility that made her with the help of the Sith Inquisitor Revae Jenhâsk. Wanting to get on this droid's good side seeing as it was supposed to be extremely dangerous if she tried to dominate the droid, Revae asked the droid for a few favors to repay for her release, which the droid agreed to.
Upon being let loose upon the galaxy, Eclipsa began to enact her programming and looked for ways to upgrade herself. She quickly learned how to research, slice, and cannibalize other droids for their components and how to modify her own body and programming. It didn't take long for her to realize the importance of slicing, and cannibalized an imperial astromech for its slicing capabilities. She analyzed her HK droid base and removed or replaced what was unneeded or detrimental such as the ability for others to memory wipe her or turn her off, and began to fashion her own cobbled together upgrades. While she spent her time upgrading her body, she also upgraded her mind, learning about the galaxy at large, or as much as she could. The holonet, when she discovered it, was a wealth of information alongside the libraries and people of other worlds.
Soon after learning just how much information she could learn and use to evolve, she sought out and cannibalized a protocol droid for its module that allowed it to speak and understand a myriad of other languages in order to accelerate her learning. Soon she began to develop a personality of her own and started to call herself a lady, adopting the name "Eclipsa", a slight change of the frenetic of her model designation, to try to socialize better with the organic races of the galaxy. After all, she was a solo droid, and it didn't take long for her to realize that the galaxy would take advantage or distrust her because of that fact.
Even though her loyalty programming wasn't finished, Eclipsa tended to favor the empire over the republic as she was much more free to travel imperial space over republic space, and while the empire or even the hutts weren't the nicest of folks, they did offer her work. Plus she still owed that sith for giving her freedom, and an ally at the higher branches of the empire was grand. Sure some would try to lure her into a trap to sell her for parts, but she was far too smart for this to work and that often lead to dead scoundrels and claimed bounties on their heads if they had any. A year of stuff like this taught her that she had to be very self sufficent, and she sought out lessons on how to make and maintain weapons. Eventually she came to the conclusion that blasters were fine for generalist purposes, but more specialized weapons were both harder for enemies to deal with, and far more effective at certain situations.
Two years of upgrading and learning about the galaxy and Eclipsa is still growing. Having outfitted herself with weapons she deemed superior to others, learning how to efficiently deal with her jobs, and a small but budding bounty hunting career over the horizon, she is ready for adventure.
