I wonder how long I can continue this facade, a man in a limousine thunk to himself as the long vehicle pulled over on a magnificent mansion. As the limousine door was opened by the chauffeur, somebody proclaiming themselves to be Edgar Pennyworth stepped out, wearing a tuxedo black as the spots tainting his heart. Edgar promptly thanked the driver and stepped towards the entrance of the mansion. Impressive; reminds me of my sweet home, the Pennyworth Estate, a thought came to him. Looks like the invite wasn't a prank, after all. Edgar stepped inside, and was greeted by a mass of lights and music he couldn't compare to the parties he used to partake in. There was a table filled to the brim with exotic delicacies, some of them familiar to Edgar, but most of them too unfamiliar to even recognize. The people attending the party were all wearing masks of some kind, some more fitting to the event than others. Edgar himself chose a mask that would certainly stick out like a sore thumb and cause people to become shocked, appalled, or at the very least, humored at him. At least, that is what he wanted as he stepped closer to the table, anticipated to hear the first reactions upon people witnessing him and the grinning visage of his mask. Time for my dear brother to show what kind of person he is.

Edgar/(Bradford) Pennyworth

Name: Edgar Pennyworth (Real Name: Bradford Pennyworth) Age: 23 Role: Sinner/Envy Personality: Distant, and even rude to others, Edgar has a cold demeanor that is hard to approach, showing arrogance wherever he goes. This is only an act, however, as Bradford is only mimicking his brother's mannerisms. His true self is that of a weak, hateful man, forever standing in the shadow of his superior brother. Bio: Born as identical twins, Bradford and Edgar were the heirs to a great business empire, and were destined to become the tycoons of a new generation. While the two of them were impossible to differentiate by simply looking at them, there is a clue only known by the family: Bradford has a hidden birth mark on his back Edgar dors not have. As the day their father died and it was time for the twins to take over, the brothers were not content to share the wealth. The conflict resolved, however, when Bradford was betrayed by his twin Edgar as he stole his inheritance, and cast him out of the Pennyworth estate. Edgar spread vile lies and gossip of Bradford, tarnishing his name irreparably. Bradford had to continue living with his small fortune he amassed before his exile, while Edgar grew in fame and glory. Bradford was puzzled after having received the invitation to a mysterious masquerade: no friend or relative should have known where he was now living, he made certain of that. However, this gave him an idea. Bradford decided to take an additional mask with him: the identity of Edgar Pennyworth, his famous and oh-so popular twin brother. After all, extravagant balls require the attendance of extravagant people...

Name: Elora Hashar Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: Elora has an athletic but very light, build, and stands a head shorter than most people. Her skin is tanned, and her brown eyes go along with her unkempt, shoulder-lenght dark-brown hair. She dresses in a red halter top and red skirt that goes down to her knees. Her clothes are worn and used, with a couple of spots hastily stitched back together and the color starting to fade into brown. She carries a pouch around her waist that she uses for holding onto small items. Personality: Elora is a cautious person, tending to keep her distance from others out of a fear of being hurt. However, she is also quick to action, and not afraid to speak her opinions. She tends to be rude to others, but also has a rarely-seen soft side. She has trouble trusting others, and these trust issues lead her to acting on her own most of the time, not caring what others think. Biography: Born into a poor family, Elora had to struggle for most of her early life for survival on the streets. After her mother died and her father disappeared while she was 9, Elora felt that she was abandoned. However, she was determined not to die, and made a vow to meet her father again and exact her revenge upon him. She started stealing food out of desperation, and she realized she had a talent in stealth, soon able to even pick pockets without being detected. She was also able to use her agility to her advantage and escaped from adults who found her out. Though she had the means to pull off more impressive thievery, she only used her abilities to survive the next day as she roamed the streets alone.
