And it's also my understanding that she can't use them all at the same time, which evens up things more. That's true. For some reason I thought you had a limit to the number of powers, but looking back at the interest thread you basically had an "everything goes"-policy regarding it.

Kyubey hopped down off the bookshelf, sitting in front of the wheelchair as he watched her with unblinking eyes. It seems to be a magical girl, he said at last, providing some information. Normal humans would find it incredibly difficult to do what they appear to be trying to do. If a Noble is involved though, it is only indirectly, given that you yourself have no knowledge of any illicit magical research.

Another seeming mental shrug then. I would provide more help, but they have done quite a bit to hide their activities from our attention.

So he's going to expect me to comb the entire city for some crazy bitches messing around with their magic...as expected of him. Though Nobles aren't directly involved I'll bet my storage of grief seeds that they're secretly backed by one. Now I'll just have to check which one of them would resort to such idiocy.

I liked it, especially the alternate viewpoint of a rookie magical girl who didn't survive their first battles, compared to the characters we have who did.

One could say that, he replied. If it is replicated, it will most likely be a threat to the world in general. It would make more sense to prevent it before it can happen in the first place. You merely need to find those responsible and stop what they are planning before they can finish what they are trying to do.

I figured that much on my own. If you're not going to cough up any more info on this 'impending doom' I'm going to stuff it in my 'Don't Care' folder, along with your gutted carcass.

I'm already seeing how the lines are going to be drawn in a future civil war (if we ever get that far in this RP):

-On the side of defending the city we have Alexandra, the Nobles supporting her, Kolya and Eponine (if she betrays Maria).

-On the side fighting against the city for various reasons are Chloe, Maria, any Nobles she convinces to join her, Shadow Compact and Eponine (if she stays loyal).

And in the middle there's Violetta, who probably chooses whichever side is most likely to win.

2. She's under a long, complicated and torturous chain of command that involves so many flimsy executive positions made for jumped up little despots clutching at whatever power they can grasp that she's under pretty much everyone's nominal command. In practice, this means she can do whatever she really feels like doing and pass the buck off onto somebody else.

Well, Maria technically IS a jumped up little despot, and thus will most likely order her around.
