Current Still alive. Sorry for the delays. Still have that new job, but I'm (gradually) getting another one. Current one is too slow.

Still a little sick. Some sort of cold. Hopefully not the flu. Getting better but it's slowed me down.

That's a good point. Classics like The Little Mermaid were basically perfect the first time around and any remakes can only be worse. Remakes of the bad Disney movies are a second chance for them.

Bio

Hi there! I've been roleplaying for years, mostly in fantasy-type RPs. I don't like giving out too much about myself, but I am a man living in New York City (that's in the Eastern time zone, if you don't already know), over 18. Recently, I have been busy working, although I graduated from college and grad school a while back.

"Under different circumstances, of course. I would be a threat to you under different conditions or if events had played out differently, but they didn't. I understand that sounds obvious, but it is a simple fact of life that our outcomes depend greatly on the right events happening to us at the right time as much as anything else. As for your other question, the answer depends. Most are a bit more restrained that the "smite first" mentality you speak of, but there are always going to be a few overenthusiastic ones in any crowd."

"It may take a while for you to get used to seeing naturally again" Aurescia reminded him. "Even if you've been seeing with undead eyes for far longer than you've ever been alive."
Needless to say, that was not what Siwa had wanted to hear. Time was not on her side, for while Koglan wasn't exactly about to keel over dead, his reproductive life was somewhat shorter than his actual lifespan, as it was with all goblins. While he could technically have children later than a female could, the odds of conception went down after a certain point. Still, he was firm in his decision. She wasn't going to get anywhere on this point with him.

"I understand. You ought to know that I'm not going to breed with an unproven male, though. Still, nothing is stopping Breden from proving himself later on."

"I'm right here, you know!" he exclaimed, not liking it that she was talking about him as if he weren't in the room." Siwa looked him over, still unwilling to bed him. As for Vos, she didn't really know him that well.

"Also, if you were willing to 'serve' Biy, why not afford me the same favor? It's not like I'm a virgin, just that I've never done it enough to conceive a litter. I have experience, trust me."

"She's going to come back later" Breden explained. "She'll take no for an answer today, but I guarantee you she'll be here within a week again. Probably the day after tomorrow."

"Brey, you shouldn't speak about someone as if they aren't here" Siwa reminded him.

"You just did that to me yourself!"

"When?"

"About a minute ago!"

"I-I-uh..." Siwa had to realize that she wasn't exactly making herself look mature in the eyes of the old smith. "Tell you what, I'll give your advice a shot, look for another male, and whether or not I find someone else who's suitable, I'm coming right back in here. It works out anyway; even if you had said yes, I wouldn't have done it tonight."

"She gets her way, sooner or later. Might as well give in now, Kog." Breden remarked, wincing a bit as his toe continued to throb with pain.

You can just go ahead, no problem. Gigan seems like he disappears for a while. It's fine, but you can move on. He can catch up later.

"Don't let it worry you too much. I can put in a good word with some of the clerics if it's really that important for you." Ophion explained. "My previous admonitions were really out of an abundance of caution, as there really are some orders of paladins and other enforcers would would gladly hunt down worshipers of demons, devils, and death gods who pose a very real and present danger to the lives of those who live in this city."

Aurescia added a bit of information of her own. "Most new cults are introduced by foreigners. Sometimes, this is well-received and the new god is given an official status in the city's great temple. If the new god is popular enough, he may be given a statuette, full statue, an altar, a chapel in a temple, or even an entire temple for himself. People in the dracon realms generally don't like it when a death god is suddenly introduced. Those tend to attract morbid cults of dissatisfied young idiots who think they can get what they want by raising the dead or something. And is it normal for your eyes to change to white like that?"

Kali did her best not to sigh, but knew Kutur well enough that she had expected this question, and it was she who mentioned those libraries.

"My love, this is the one day I've been able to get you away from your work, so you can spend time with the kids. I can't stop you from going to those libraries, but would it be asking so much that you spend a bit of time with your own offspring? You know how things work with most kobolds around here. When the kids are adults, we won't exactly be seeing them very much anymore. It makes the time we have with them all the more precious. The libraries will still be there in a few hours." She knew her husband was rather cerebral, especially for a kobold. Kali preferred to indulge her more physical side. The two needed to be balanced for a healthy life, and it was important for the children to have both parents involved with their lives.

Skanoi had already jumped into the water, enjoying the sensation of the heated pool. "Come on in, dad! The water's fine!"
@bloonewb

Great! Thanks. I opened two new accounts this week. I still have to finish the sales, so there will be another period where I might as well be on Mars, but that should be over by January 31st, or February 1st at the latest.
Feel free to reply, either of you. I was the last to post in the RP.
@BigPapaBelial

That's fine. I'm just glad to see people participating. We can reconcile differences later if we have to, I just don't want us to lose momentum. It can be very hard to regain once it is lost.
@Searat

I'll figure something out to merge the plotlines, don't worry.
@Searat

Very nice post! We'll work to integrate your side of the story and character(s) into the plot, but it might take a bit of time, don't worry. It's a very nice setup you have going.
