I want to write, but don't ever seem to have the drive anymore. Every time I come back to this place and pop in to see how things are going, I want to come back. But I just can't seem to stick around.

At this point I think it’s safe to say I hate college, since I’m in my graduating semester with 6 classes, but I’m also pretty anxious about whatever will happen once I’m finally done.

That last month of the semester hit me real hard, but so begins the recovery process. I just want to chill out for a bit without having to think about another academic paper...

Bio

It's been 4 years so I may as well put something in here, right?

I tend to enjoy worlds verging on the bleaker side of things, not really sure why. I like 'em gritty and somewhat grounded, with a reasonable amount of realism (fun takes priority though, ofc). I guess I just like having a sense that defeat is right around the corner, though overwhelming odds are always best saved for those wonderful moments when everyone feels like a total badass regardless of victory or defeat.

I've really wanted to find an RP set in the worlds of Red Dead, Hunt: Showdown, For Honor, the Metro series, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Any time I look I come up empty-handed, but I'd still like to find one.

Yeah, it really sucks....
For those who don't know what State of Decay is, it's a zombie survival game where time is precious. You can play as, and switch between, several different characters that you meet throughout the course of the game, while some characters you may never get to play as. Your objective is to survive and help your fellow survivors - by scavenging weapons, ammunition, medical supplies, food, and crafting materials.
Neglecting your duties as a member of your survivor community, or simply spending too much time exploring and not doing missions, can kill.

-

And then Dying Light is another zombie survival, except this game is first person and using guns doesn't spawn a shit ton of zombies. There is a large usage of parkour, which is pretty cool that a first person game pulled that off, but you don't have to worry about much besides staying alive.
However at night things get interesting. Strange, freaky, heavily deformed, and mutated zombies lurk about, and while they're weak to UV light; they are certainly no pushovers.

-

This RP would combine the ideas of these two games.

If you people are still interested, then go to the link and start posting. As soon as I know a few of you are entirely up for joining the RP, I'll be happy and probably start setting up the minor details that you all need not worry about

It might help if you @mentioned them.
The silence is maddening

Indeed.
Daaaarn, ahhahah I got Destiny on XBOX One.
Why don't the cross platform that shit. :(

Hit me up brah, my name is my GT.

XD imagine being in Crucible in a cross platform match. You're on XBone and then you hear a loud crack and you're dead. You look in the top right corner and see...you were killed by Hawkmoon

I wouldn't really care, but that'd piss a lot of people off.
Prophet had just finished talking with the Dead Orbit representative at the Tower and was starting to walk away when his Ghost materialized in front of him, making pinging sounds before alerting him of a transmission from the Speaker. "Feed the transmission through to my helmet, Sparky. Aaand don't play it out loud, like last time, okay?" Commanded Prophet as he held out his hand for Sparky, the Ghost, to hover over. Sparky moved over Prophet's hand, emitting a string of sad yet apologetic notes that sounded very much like some kind of music, and began to play the transmission through Prophet's helmet.

Prophet stayed there for a good while, as he listened to the voice of the Speaker and watched the images of other Guardians appear on his helmet's HUD. Then, once the Speaker was through, he started heading for the meeting place. Sparky flew over Prophet's shoulder and beeped questioningly, to which Prophet simply nodded. Seeing the nod, Sparky buzzed happily and danced around Prophet's head for a moment before trans-matting away to wherever Ghosts go. Prophet let out a slight chuckle before continuing the rather short walk to the meeting place, and arrived to see the guardians whose pictures flashed across his HUD earlier. He eyed each one of them over, as if he was searching for something, with his helmet still on and masking his face.
I... Umh yeah intel gained we still need to meet up Dragonite777. :P
Sorry to bother you about that.
Good post though. :)

I'm going to assume you mean that Dragonite should have gone to the tower, instead of already heading to Scandinavia?

@Dragonite777

Well, it looks like I'm the only one who hasn't posted...but I'll get mine up later today after school, when I can get on my PC.
Okay I'm back :)

Mmkaykay
@ArkmageddonCat Well in the game besides actually physically speaking with the Speaker the only other time he gives you a mission he speaks to you through your Ghost. That's what I plan on doing in my post anyway.

Okay.

Perhaps I might wait until tomorrow. I'll be able to get on my PC then.
So...we would all have been alerted?
