I want to write, but don't ever seem to have the drive anymore. Every time I come back to this place and pop in to see how things are going, I want to come back. But I just can't seem to stick around.

At this point I think it’s safe to say I hate college, since I’m in my graduating semester with 6 classes, but I’m also pretty anxious about whatever will happen once I’m finally done.

That last month of the semester hit me real hard, but so begins the recovery process. I just want to chill out for a bit without having to think about another academic paper...

Bio

It's been 4 years so I may as well put something in here, right?

I tend to enjoy worlds verging on the bleaker side of things, not really sure why. I like 'em gritty and somewhat grounded, with a reasonable amount of realism (fun takes priority though, ofc). I guess I just like having a sense that defeat is right around the corner, though overwhelming odds are always best saved for those wonderful moments when everyone feels like a total badass regardless of victory or defeat.

I've really wanted to find an RP set in the worlds of Red Dead, Hunt: Showdown, For Honor, the Metro series, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Any time I look I come up empty-handed, but I'd still like to find one.

Either here or the OOC post.

Guess I might as well say them here, since they're Pacific Rim based and not yet modified for this RP.

For Jaegers I got my main bot Delta Silver. Basically a rip of Coyote Tango from PR, but instead of being Gen-1, Delta was a Gen-4 with updated weapons systems(similar weapons to Coyote Tango). That means the dual mortar cannons that flip over the shoulder to fire, though Delta Silver uses artillery cannons - more damage, slower rate of fire. The plasma casters of each hand retain the plasma blade function that Coyote Tango had, while being an overall improvement.

Next was Patriot Sigma, a Gen-3, essentially a mixture of themes between Gipsy Danger and Striker Eurika. Equipped with twin blades mounted at the wrists, made to constantly vibrate while being heated to cauterize the wounds, and twin rapid-fire plasma casters formed out of each hand. Its pilots were also experienced in all kinds of hand-to-hand combat, especially boxing and wrestling.

Third mech was Shuriken Tsunami, a Gen-4 with three pilots, two separate cockpits, and four arms. Two pilots occupied the head and focused control over the head, upper left and right arms, and legs. The third pilot was in a Conn-Pod located on the chest, and focused control on the two lower arms and, if the head was destroyed, the legs. Both shoulders could rotate a full 360 degrees, with two arms mounted on them. The waist was the same, capable of 360 degrees of rotation with two legs attached. However, Shuriken Tsunami was limited to close-ranged attacks and had no method of firing projectiles. Instead, every hand could function as a saw, much like Crimson Typhoon.

Unfortunately the only Kaiju I remember making was called "Shellback". He was a mixture of like...an armadillo-crayfish sorta thing. His signature ability was to be able to roll up into an armored ball that protected him from just about anything, with the addition of being mobile. He also had shovel-like claws and could dig, but he only used this ability once before he was engaged, using it to hide and ambush the Jaeger, Patriot Sigma. Delta Silver was called in to assist once Patriot Sigma lost it's blades and a hand to the Kaiju. It was noted that Shellback could deflect Delta's artillery shells, but was vulnerable to the close-ranged plasma blades.

And I had like another two Kaiju, but I forgot them. One was similar to a rhino, though...

I would love to see them!

Unfortunately they aren't drawn, and I think I deleted the note on my phone...but I remember most of them.

Where should I post dem?

DONE!!!

Sorry, it bugged me.

Interested purely for Pacific Rim, and because I have some fan-concepts/custom robots and Kaiju.
Prophet had been waiting with the other five Guardians, though he stood off to the side and remained silent. He had nothing to say, so why should he talk? Though as his fellow comrades and comrades' Ghosts talked he did not shy away, and instead he listened. This was his way of getting to know them, and was his method of trying to ensure that he did not say the wrong thing...once he decided to speak to them, that is. But none of that thought process mattered once the doors opened to let the Guardians in for the meeting, as Prophet focused on listening to and processing the Speaker's words.

After the Speaker was done there were many questions, and as Prophet began to ponder over the absence of information some of those questions were being answered. For some, that only led to more questions...and for others...well, Prophet wasn't concerned. The extra knowledge was nice and would surely be useful, but asking questions wouldn't get the mission done. Something wasn't quite right about this situation...and Prophet couldn't tell what it was.
I say school killed it.

School is a menace. It should be destroyed.
Hey, Scruffy. Another long night huh?

Scruffy? What the hell? XD

I said janitor not dog. XD
Really? I did think he was super sketch but I just have trust issues with videogame characters ever since Bioshock

I'm going to be studying all day today so sadly might not be able to post...:p

I thought he was real sketchy too. He wears that mask and he talks real sketchy like.

Yeah, most of the games plot was scrubbed after the lead writer and cinematic director, Joseph Staten, left Bungie. And we were left with the mess of a storyline with so many holes we could use it as a net, and Grimoire cards that we can't access on the game itself after another writer was brought in to expand what was left of the universe that wasn't scrubbed.

I'll also be getting a post up in a few hours, maybe write a bit as the Speaker to answer Dragonite's post if that's alright.

God damn it Joseph Stalin!
Oi! Anyone home?!

Aye, the crusty ol' janitor is.
Somewhat.
@Revans Exile Lol, that name is funky sounding. XD
