Either we do that, or continue to sit in limbo in which teams who have finished are left with nothing to do and teams who haven't are forced to slowly chug through the exam because of a consistent string of drop outs.

Might as well just do a timeskip and say all the teams managed to form themselves up and get back to Beacon reasonably unscathed. It'll save us a whole lot of time.

Pardon me for making a character who doesn't follow along with the happy-perfect-teamwork dynamic. Perish the thought of actually developing character beyond flashy team moves and shiny new weapons.

I'm sure swimming in your direction and abandoning your team mate to go on a solo adventure rather than group up and fight the boss would've gotten us much farther. :p
