I based Darrian off of...

/Adds annoying twat to list of reasons to torture.

Laius made an appearance. He's not officially with them yet, but he's in the hearts of their women and in the ire of their men.

You realize that eventually all the lynx butts are belong to harem protag Alistair.#YouCantEscapeTheHarem

I will disband the harem with a well aimed wire below the belt. If I must sacrifice Alistair's manhood to stop this conspiracy, by dust I will do it.
Only Cloud Zaino can beat Sepiroth Xanxus, silly. :p

Seriously. Invading his country, being a scum bucket, beating the sister of his waifu. The reasons for Laius to not give Darrian a merciful execution just keep piling up.
Still mowing over the whole 'empire' thing, but think of them as a mixture between ancient rome and pre-world war II germany.

Nations Name: The United Imperium of Valm
Flag:
Form of Government: Monarchy
Describe the System:

The United Empire of Valm can best be described as a heavily militarized monarchy. The people follow the emperor's judgements without hesitation, lest the military come down on them. Generals and high ranking officers take the role of administrators, making a tangled web of bureaucracy to govern the ever growing empire. Noble houses have next to no control via status, but most houses that still exist enroll their children into the military's finest training academies to become generals so they may cement their dying influence.

Location on Map Desired: Somewhere landlocked if possible
Capital: Valorin (Center of Empire)
Important Settlements:

Description:

The United Empire of Valm can best be described as a heavily militarized monarchy. The people follow the emperor's judgements without hesitation, lest the military come down on them. Generals and high ranking officers take the role of administrators right next to the upper class, making a tangled web of bureaucracy to govern the ever growing empire. The behemoth of a country has been stripped of its natural resources to fuel an ever present need for progress and expansion. To make up for this, it has evolved to become a powerful mercantile force, exchanging goods between countries and occasionally using their frightening military clout to bully other kingdoms into trading with them so that they may obtain what they need and a healthy serving of coinage as well.

Important Characters:

Emperor Walhart III
Crown Prince Marcus
Field Marshall Lucius Lang
Head of Imperial Affairs Titus Donello

Traits:

Starting +2
Ambitious Generals +1; As the only real way to gain glory and wealth in Valm is through military expansion, glory and the Emperor's favor are very, very important to someone's career.
Never Been Outside the Village +1; Valmese don't venture from their empire often, as it has all they could ever want.
State Controlled Economy+1; The military keeps a close tab on the economy, making sure no unneeded risks are taken by businesses to ensure stability and the status-quot.
Afraid of the Sea +3; Being a landlocked empire with next to no interaction with the oceans of the world, Valm is not fond of changing that unless it is absolutely need.
Landlubbers +1; Valmese troops do not train at sea, as the sea is not something that threatens the empire often.
Depleted Materials +3; To fuel the flames of Valmese expansion, the resources of the great country have been stripped and used up.

Empire -4; Valentinius has a history of conquest and glory, with many nationalities and countries being integrated. Their lands and population are vast.
Trading Hub -3; Valentinius' massive borders and need for foreign supplies have led it to become a well known trading hub, raking in coin and resources from its neighbors through shrew but fair bargaining in its many marketplaces.
Large Army -2; Being the military is the central form of government, the mighty nation fields a large army from all corners of its territory to protect and control the Emperor's lands.
Professional Army -3; The immense focus on the army has led Valentinian troops to be among the best trained and equipped around.

Army:
25,000 Veterans
51,000 Regulars
76,000 Recruits

Navy:
NA

GDP:
54,000,000,000 ($)

Stability: Stable
Yeah, he's a lap dog who thinks it's the king of the world, but in reality nobody takes seriously.
Well, the entire story is based around everybody's friends and comrades being brutally slaughtered because a sissy ruler didn't like them, so there's probably enough angst to go around.

You probably should. That's generally how you get units in FE. They just pop in and fight for you.
To my knowledge, yeah. One guy dropped before he even joined up.

...from what I've been reading so far...Darrian looks like a caricature of some evil warlord. Does more damage to his own soldiers than the enemy. And how many people have died thus far in the RP?

None. Although one's about to off himself, if that counts.

That's an interesting breed of dog. Very pretty looking. XD

He is a very good looking man. .;3
That post. Mixed up my tabs.

I do have a question, though. What practical benefits does the Empire trait serve, other than fluff?
This

Because I can't think of any regal dogs, and they live in deserts.
