I agree completely. But similarly, countless others die while you, so far, have not. Does that forfeit your right to live, as much as any "right" can exist?

*Mumbles*
Well, no…
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

You have as much a right to it as anybody else.

Sure, that I agree with. But more ability to act on that right than most.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

Whatever you decide is in your best interest, I would assume. Broader Existence is an anarchy, and we can but do what we desire.

I don’t even know if I feel like I earned the right to have that power.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

And you’re able to enforce that feeling if you so choose. You certainly have that ability.

But where’s the line? If I know someone did something wrong, sure, but what about gray areas like this?
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

And who would stop whomever is given that power, should they choose to abuse it? “Who watches the watchers” is an unsolved problem.

I don’t know. It just doesn’t feel right for people who are at a certain level to not have to be liable for anything.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

Ought they? Accountability necessitates a social hierarchy.

All I’m saying is, if no one does, who stops people like that from just running over everyone else who can’t stop it?
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

With all due respect, the suggestion amounts to detaining a man in a quasi-legal system to evaluate his actions and deliver a corresponding punishment. To what end?

I mean, who holds anyone accountable for anything, for what reason? Who holds people accountable at all when they exist like we do? But someone ought to, right?
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

I'm not referring to physical threats. Assume we could capture him quietly. What then?

He could be held accountable for any potential wrongdoings.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

I think that, regardless of what he said, the other paths we could have taken put us at a much greater risk.

I still genuinely don't know how much punishment you can take right now. Maybe it would have put you in great danger.
<Snipped quote by Revolutionary>

I see. Interesting. Even if he was lying, it would have done little to change the outcome.

You really believe that?
*Looks down*
Hmm...
