Another passenger upon the Prima Vista was rather taking some time off to relax on board the ship. A rather large Hyena Demihuman was trying to seek rest. His head was rather filled with excitement for a trip that was soon to be embarked upon. There was a minor sense of guilt for having to rather take off from his hometown and family but seeing as it was supported the sense was very miniscule but still present. He had forgotten to purchase something for entertainment during the trip but that was not going to be much of an issue since the people around would likely be fun to converse with.

Perrin was decently sure that payment for the ride had already been fulfilled after paying through some connections. He had yet to encounter any trouble while on board and he was not particularly the best hider or trained in stowing away. Seeing as the linen was spread about the rooms it gave a rather ‘fancy’ aesthetic to the place. He bet that the cabins would be similar to match this very neat appearance and perhaps with very soft blankets as well! Seeing as there were notes already upon the doors he immediately tried going into a cabin room. Making sure to size up the bed before even trying to climb onto it, which was learned from dozens of past experiences.

If the bed seemed fair enough to handle him, he would immediately try and climb in. If not napping on the floor or in the corner would do, either way would not necessarily be a bad turn out.

The cold had set in rather quickly in multiple senses. The actual cold weather and wind had become more noticeable but also the absence of the people before just suddenly deciding to leave elsewhere seemed to bring a chill and oddity to it. It was likely that the weather was mostly getting to Dovverick again from since had resurfaced but he was not a particular fan of being ignored or abandoned. It felt even worse or perhaps even more irritating since he had to put on a kind and begging like act in order to try and get information about the on goings that had lead some destruction near yonder. Either way the desire to get out of the cold was rising and somewhat tempting to pursue those whom had left in order to give a tongue thrashing of some sort or another. He had not the clue of how to do this beyond that he simply wanted to at this point.

The other traveler was still approaching but it had been of less concern at this point. Who, what or why they were approaching seemed to be very little in importance to the arising annoyance and rudeness of those that came before that traveler, and perhaps a bit of an irritant from the discomforting presence of the said traveler that came about. Whether or not any of them had information seemed very unlikely and a foolish pursuit beyond that of possibly finding some form of closure of enjoyment in dealing with the two previous people, and maybe even the traveler as well. What fools they all started to look like painted in Doverick’s eyes, even himself at this point.

Then again, the ley-line may have been a convenient means of retreat to some healer or some other far beyond but Doverrick doubted that would be the reason for using or taking it. Especially with his own service having been mentioned quickly up front. It seemed while Doverick was thinking for some meaning behind an action or another the Traveler had rather quickly ran through and disappeared into the ley-line for some reason or another. The reason behind that seemed not to matter as that had not been upon Doverick’s mind for long. The expression that the traveler had some warmly had printed across their face had been what got to Doverick more. The grin had rather irritated them or angered them on a deeper level for some unknown reason.

That seemed to be the pushing point. As Doverick himself soon went into the ley-line as well with an angered and upset pout. At least the temperature was hoped to change for the better.
Sorry about the wait. As I've mentioned, I've been struggling with motivation and time coordination a bit (Seeing as I wake up really late and by then it feels too late to get anything done). I will try and get a post up tomorrow.

@ShaggyDoo0
how goes character creating?
Personally? I guess I am physically fine, I am not exactly emotionally hurt or in trouble either. Just haven't been motivated or wanting too do much lately, which is pretty bad really I guess.
Randy was briefly stopped by Hitori and knew not the reason why. Even the brief mention of slaying the beast seemed rather ineffectual or pointless to get himself particularly involved in this fight. It strung and even irritated to some degree that it was assumed that Randy was thought to need to ‘earn’ a keep despite his previous or perhaps still current occupation of maintenance of sorts. Keeping things, together and functioning properly to a degree. Focusing on such and more of the results of what had occurred instead of the rest of the chaos unfolding, was rather saddening. He felt more of longing to simply return even more so than he did before. There was likely nothing he could do to save anything now but, what else was he to do? What else was he capable of beyond at least trying again to keep himself occupied? There was an odd feeling of insanity and departure from reality in it but that was not discomforting.

The battle continued to unfold in front of Randy’s eyes. The slight amazement and impressive works of the combatants and what appeared to be magic was either gone or dying quite rapidly in his eyes. He was beginning to lose vision of it or the things around really. Attention and plans were much more being turned inward and inspecting thoroughly for something or anything that could possibly be done or used. There were a few ideas that came to mind but none were viewed as, specifically necessary or perhaps even that useful or obtainable to begin with. Although it would be something, and might be similar to some outer inspirations of ideals. They were, unlikely but it was something.

Maybe it would be a courteous idea to announce his departure back to the wreck of his old job. On the other hand it seemed everyone was busy doing something and he would have likely slipped away unnoticed with the exception of the one person who had stopped him from walking away in the first place. The creature was dead, or appeared dead enough from the rest of group’s efforts. Hopefully that would be more something to dwell on along with dealing with getting out of the forest rather than Randy disappearing for a while. He simply started to slip back toward the ship quite quickly before hopefully anyone else noticed that he was even there. There was something about a giant plant controlling the forest and that was about as much as Randy caught before quickly trying to slip off. If the supplies survived well enough there would hopefully be a welding torch or arc somewhere around perhaps like a bunch of other junk that was around.
Doverrick simply stood there for a few moments or two. It seemed he had surprised the two or at least the one he was assuming was female. It seemed he was rather being studied and stared at for a little while which in itself was uncomforting. The feeling of being stared at like so and studied about made the hyena or gnoll of sorts, uncomfortable with the current situation. The information that could be worked out from them may, however be invaluable so Doverrick simply maintain a wide and pleasant grin across his face to not appear menacing and more of a friendly sort.

It seemed then or soon afterward that the girl and the other had disappeared into the ley line and likely went elsewhere. Which seemed rather rude to Doverrick at the time being as he was ignored or avoided all together. Since the two were gone and disappeared into the ley line and likely would not hear him at the time being, he swore under his breath. More or less coming up with a minor profane name for the two. Unsure of whether or not he should pursue the two was being questioned in the next few seconds.

If he left and went after the two, who knew what might be met on the other side? The two might be too afraid to even think clearly and answer him or they may even try to attack Doverrick simply out of fear. There was the other traveler to worry about as well. The hyena glanced over his shoulder back in the general direction of the traveler that was walking along the path. The chill of the cold began to set in somewhat.
I'll try and post up tomorrow.
Might be busy the following weak.
Randy was rather was too focused upon Hitori and their previous freak out only a moment ago to notice that he was being addressed to. Then again by the nickname he was being presented with, it was unlikely he would have recognized it being directed toward himself. Especially since he was rather attuned or used to another nickname by most he was acquainted with in the first place. He had not exactly been slinging it around and about to everyone however. Not likely that he would choose to do so all the time either but there was an odd, pride in his more known nickname or title even.

Randy would rather stay a bit behind if the other decided not to move elsewhere and wanted to rest for a bit after their apparent shock and panic. It seemed rather everyone else was eager to get a move on to escape the forest, which made sense enough of course. There was a brief moment of wanting to ponder why he himself was less concerned with it, seeing as he himself was simply a mechanic instead of a deadly weapon toting or trained in some offense skill or another. Which somewhat reminded him, where had the well-dressed fellow gone?

A nearby shouting of sorts, something about rats had peaked some attention in curiosity. Randy would give off a small hand gesture for Hitori to wait where they were as Randy checked it out. Seeing as the other had been having a bit of a panic a moment ago. He began rather slowly approaching toward the others and the scene of combat that was going on.

It seemed a swarm of rats was quickly upon an armored Hobgoblin fiend of sorts. The nature of the rats bringing a slight curiosity and twinge of discomfort, more so than having seen a vine grow out of a person’s flesh. It seemed the feline tried striking at the beast soon after the rats along with some remarks along the way. It seemed another was also joining in the battle, someone who seemed to suddenly appear. A mist of sorts was spreading across the ground and all sorts of things seemed to be going on. Randy was rather getting somewhat lost in the display of sorts which was imagined to be more exciting entertainment for theater, except for the reality of it.

Everyone seemed to be, well prepared to defend themselves or those near them in the fight. Randy himself would rather stay to the side for now, if not sneak back to Hitori to check on them. There was, likely little he could do to help at the moment without endangering himself. Having seen everyone’s reactions to when he felt exhausted or sore, he rather not dare to risk a real injury or perhaps even get in the way of whatever attacks the groups were using as to distract them. On a minor note he somewhat expected the cold mist to spike up in a large crystal of ice and surrounded the fiend, perhaps that was imagination trying to make predictions.
