"Hah! Guess you could probably say I'm going to help clean their larder out, or uh.. fridge I think? That's probably what they're using these days. But out here in the middle of no where, who can tell?"
Guy would call out before moving his way back to the kitchen.
Seeing as the cabinets were half full, he'd eagerly start searching through.
As he did, he would almost instinctively sort whatever food was there alphabetically first, and then by size. Small cans, big cans, then big boxes if there was anything like that for baked goods, or dough crumbs, etc. Not seemingly fully aware of it at first. In fact, seeming rather out of it until he was asked a question.

"It smells like dead flesh in here."
He would mutter out as Ali asked something he didn't quite fully mentally process.
Before he would slowly turn around. Staring at Ali, taking a moment to process as if his brain was buffering.

"Anything but meat then!"
He laughed. "Beans are usually a long lasting, and filling part of a meal. Almost everyone has some form of beans. 'B' for beans. Although rice would be good it spoils very easily as a grain. so no 'R' for rice. Maybe 'A' for apples? Do they have any preserved apple slices, sometimes its used in baking and canned they add a lot of preservatives. 'I' for icecream... no that'd be melted by now, unless they still have power... 'N' for noodles...? If there's left over instant ramen those could last for years really."

"How does..... Noodles with beans on it sound? Maybe even sausage if we're super lucky."
He would search around for just such ingredients, organizing and taking what he could to make some kind of bean noodle soup.
tomorrow
Welcome back, and posted.
You're fine~ o:
"Bar is usually a good place as any really for information. If we're lucky maybe it be scored over some of the drinks... or if you're really good at darts. Pool is a bit long of a game, but... think I might be better in that category."
Aread would grin a bit too himself.
Before simply following along with the drunkard.

"Yeah, yeah, off your case soon enough."
He would nod, though roll his eyes a bit in the background.
Although he would keep himself behind the group, specifically not to be seen.
Ignoring the drunkard's nudging, as he was eager to be out of the way.

The dark alleyway wasn't exactly a comforting spot, but it was somewhere.
While Aread wouldn't like the look of the place, it wasn't like their options were bettter elsewhere. Besides the setting of the game itself was dark & mysterious, so alleyways were probably going to be a bit more commonplace. He doubted that a drunkard was going to jump the two of them here. But he still would give Talon a look of apprehension, before following along. His staff held close for how well it would help him.
"Maybe. Honestly could just be a freak. Half of these sound like romance titles, and I've seen a loooooooooooot of freaky houses that have books about getting into bed with demons. Think one was named: the great ogre between two hills and uh, well, it was definitely weird cover picture on it. The woodblock print was a bit too detailed."
Guy would let out a shiver.

While Ali would check the kitchen, Guy would check the rest of the house. He would try to check the bedrooms. Just in case anyone was sleeping, or otherwise resting in one of them. If not, would also mean a good resting spot against the storm outside. Maybe they should border up the windows too once they got the chance.

"Find anything?"
He called out. "Would it be too rude to eat some of their food if they had any left over?"
"Greetings Ali."
He'd say along the way.

He'd let out a wince as the door was kicked in, the damage to it and the noise was discomforting. He was already thinking about the repairs on the hinges that would need to be done later, but at least the door didn't seem to full fall over or break away.

Once he would enter the building, he'd go to the bookshelf to place it back up against a wall.
If there were any books from it, he'd focus on organizing them alphabetically by their titles.
Seemingly almost absorbed in it.

"Ghost?"
He'd look over toward her with a raised brow in slight confusion.
Before looking back at himself. The, transparent effect would fade away seconds after.

"Not quite that, know a few tricks I'd say. But, I haven't returned from the grave or anything of that nature."
Goodbye, see ya
Should be able to post tomorrow
Hi @Eviledd1984
How's it going, what are the thoughts?
Is there any particular element set or game logic we're following?
Or will it be a bit open to narrative interpretation?
