Party

Geo would take in another deep breath. A part of it to try and focus on the moment of the game. He had been playing the game to more or less relax up to this point, so there hadn't been as much a dire need. That had changed over embarrassiing himself at the sight of an ally's blood. It had been virtual, and without pain, so there hadn't been a need for it overall. Now, he was more focused on making up on that matter.

Once Doc had given the ready, Geo was moving to engage. Doc might hear a faint humming of some cheerful tune under Geo's breath as he'd move in to fight. Geo hadn't verbally responded, but his intent to strike would be made clear. His movements wouldn't be quite as defensive either.

The spearman assumed the unarmed fighter to be weaker, and that would be the one for Doc to finish off. He was pretty sure Doc could at least wittle that one down, while Geo shifted toward the other as part of the plan. The grizzly knife wielder would be the one to really tackle moments later.

"Mmm, a little damage won't kill me. Catch this one."
Geo would huff out with a bit more confidence. The enemy going for a straight foward lunge & attemptng to push his spear out of the way seemed to only boost his confidence. A straightfoward counter that Geo would roll with.

His spear would shift foward as it was being pushed by the unarmed bandit, along with the rest of him. As Geo would side-step with the bandit's lunging momentum to try and pivot around to the bandit's side. Awkwardly, though forcibly sliding his hand up to the spear-head to punch it into the unarmed bandit's ribs. He believed it should give Doc a headstart if the unarmed bandit didn't just drop dead from there from the heavy strike of it.
Although, doing that could have left Geo vulnerable if the target had been armed.

Whether the hit was clean or a miss, the spearman immediately shifted to a Flurry (low chance to confuse) and a side-swipe toward the knife bandishing enemy. Geo, had found a means of 'reseting' the weapon, forcing it back to a balanced position by using an in-game skill. A means to cause aggro and distraction more than to disarm, but if it could get lucky to knock the armed bandit's focus for even a moment, could be precious time being saved.

"You finish that guy, or hold 'em down if they're still kicking. Less damage, and I'll pierce my way through the knife one."
Oop one more day
Last shift woo
nice, nice, thank yoou
Hello there,

Wanted to swing by and give a poke.

I'm curious if you'd be interested in a fantasy or dark leaning fantasy adventure with a werewolf like creature.
My original inspiration was leaning more toward Castlevania, though could perhaps mix in Witcher vibes for something new.
If not, I understand.

Geo flinched at the sight of the blood. He didn't intermediately recall if this game was meant to have realistic damage to enemies or not. It was one thing to hear about it, and another thing to see it directly in front of him. Especially in the immersive VR setting. Game trailers definitely couldn't compare to being directly there: the yelp of the ruffian just added to the brief shock of the moment.

Geo was probably lucky that Doc stepped in. The warrior had been stunned by the interaction, and may have been caught off guard otherwise. He would stand still for a heartbeat, before stepping back rather than a quick retreat. Geo's mask hid his eyes well enough to cover up his eyes widening from the experience.
Only to be brought right back out of it by the victory screen with the attached rewards.

Geo would quickly try to brush it off.

"See? Nothing too it. We just need to, uh.. careful combine to take them down."
He sighed instead of his normal grin. The spearman now had the concerned expression of the two compared to Doc's smile. "Think if we take down 5 of 'em, we'd at least afford another pair of shoes.. or something."

Geo would look toward the three bandits nearby. The fact that none even glanced at the commotion was a relief. Both in that the game's A.I. or at least these goons was relatively low in perception. Whether it be the in built intent for the system, or that these were beginner level enemies to take down.

"Yeah.."
"Yeah, I can kite another. Just get ready to smack them down for me."
Geo would nod. He would focus on one leaning against the barricade.

The spearman would step a bit closer to one of the bandits toward the barricade before performing his skill.
Widely sweeping the spear through the air passing it from one hand to the other in a circling motion, before adding a basic figure eight flurry. It looked like Geo may have been adding a few extra steps to the process, especially as he'd tauntingly point his spear end toward the intended target.

He'd try a light jab toward the bandit's shoulder should they approach, wanting to get in a bit of early damage.

Ye! Wanted to borrow stuff and inspirations from eastern mythology and probably kung-fu movies when I can to be honest. That being said, I will 1000000000% not be accurate with any of it to be honest. Think, I mentioned that thought process, but putting down that mental train again.

Could have been a house/family deity of sorts. That once the house was disbanded latched on to protect the fallen warriors. However the desperate bandits turned to crime to survive (thus the corruption bit kicking in).

I could describe the mask when it comes up.
A little too lazy to type it up right now so I'll hold off until further in.
Although I will probably have it be based on the blood pheasant if not a one-to-one of the bird.

That being said, just to be sure. Is there anything else I should know before typing up my next reply, or anything major I should look out for?
Ah, going to show an immediate foil to Geo's character. I got ya.
It may be very interesting depending on how or if you look to add backstory sauce too it.
The Kinara(what Geo's character is based on), are typically based around devotion and music. So maybe they were someone or something's protector, and went too far? Or perhaps due to their dedication were tricked into a contract/promise of sorts?
TBF not really following mythos here just throwing stuff out for ideas.

Definitely would love a cool looking mask.
The player of GEO does really like aesthetics.
A higher stat weapon would help him in the long run, but definitely the type to pick the cooler looking design, ya know?

It did get fixed, it just took a while for the repairman to actually come.
We essentially had to bug the company three times. Since the first time the repairman never arrived.
But hey, it's working now.
Our dryer, would only work for the first few seconds and then constantly shut off. So it was basically useless. Went to a laundromat to the drying part, but honestly didn't realize how long/hot a dryer needs to be to do its full job. Mostly because if the dryer was set on 'medium' at the laundromat, it would dry for 15 and it would always be damp. Even heating it on 'high' didn't completely do the job, but would be close.

I'm down for things 'changing' once we hit the boss. It could be pretty interesting!

What did you have in mind for the boss/what set ups were ye worried about?
