My issue with GMing is once the novelty of the new idea wears off, I have no idea what to do next, and everyone is looking at me to progress the narrative.

I still haven’t watched TLOK. It’s on my long list of shows and movies to binge.

Bio

Gay, he/him, Autistic

I’m Crimson Flame and I’m addicted to RPing. But sometimes ADHD kicks in, and it takes me longer to reply to things than it should. If I’m taking too long to respond, feel free to say something. Just don’t be rude about it.

There are a bunch of RPs I like. Pokémon, Digimon, Fantasy, Superhero, it would take too long to list them all. I’m not a fan of Horror or Apocalypse settings though.

I have a particular type of character I like making. Look through my Character Sheet thread, and see if you notice what a lot of my characters have in common.

It had been a pretty decent time, all things considered.

He was out with the cheer squad, Colleen doing her best not to roll her eyes out of her skull Rio does whatever shenanigans that Rio does, and Finn happily inhaling curly fries.

Then Colleen screamed, and dropped her boba. Then, That was when things got weird.

Finn’s head snapped up to the sky just as the rest of the DuckBurger crowd did the same. A fireball was streaking across the sky, way too close for comfort. At first, he thought it was an asteroid. But asteroids didn’t crackle with what looked like raw electricity. They didn’t shoot off bolts like that either. “What the heck?” Finn muttered.

Things only got weirder from there. Lights warping. Air bending. Gravity… glitching?

The others were already running.

Finn took one step back, and then was yanked straight into the sky.

“WaitwaitWAIT—!”

He was spinning, flailing, a scream caught somewhere between panic and “is this a cheer stunt??” And then… WHAM! Something wrapped around him. Not tight, but enough to slow the impact.

And then everything went black.

When Finn came to, he was… upside down.

And swinging.

He blinked blearily, vision full of leaves, sky, and what he eventually realized was a giant octopus mascot printed across the banner that had wrapped him like a gift basket. He groaned. “Ugh. Is this what dying feels like?”

The banner read, in bright bubble letters:
“The Best OctoBalls in Dyna City!”

Finn blinked again. It was then that he realized he was upside down. “Cool, love that for me!” He said cheerfully, but you could still detect the sarcasm.

He twisted a little, catching movement below. Someone stumbling into view… Nate? “Nate? Hey! Hey, RA guy! Little help?”
I have a bunch of characters I want to reuse. I’m just indecisive. 😅
Me again. :P

Going for Pink, like usual.
I’m potentially interested. I love Pokémon!

Not into the Nuzlocke thing though
I’ll attempt to get caught up before then!
I’m still here.
I might be to blame for that…
I’m here. Just need to post
I would have put Rosie there, but there was zero reason to put a fourth year student in basic ecology when she’s not a TA.

Rosie Hawthorn adjusted the lavender lapel of her custom lab coat, smoothing down a nonexistent wrinkle before stepping into Room 2C. She was early, of course. Anything less than punctual felt like a personal failure.

A few heads turned as she walked in, and went to her seat. Some curious, some amused, one already rolling their eyes. Rosie didn’t mind. She had been used to this. Between her lavender lab coat, pink hair decorated with cutesy hair barettes, pink glasses, and glittery rainbow colored notebooks and folders, she often stood out amongst the more “serious” students. Let them underestimate her. Let them try and match her citations in the class discussion.

The classroom filled slowly. Some students came in laughing, others still rubbing sleep from their eyes. Rosie didn’t acknowledge anyone unless spoken to. Although she did subtly scoot her chair away from a classmate who smelled like smoke for some reason.

Then, the projector screen flickered to life, displaying:
Cognitive-Behavioral Pokémon Therapy: Welcome & Introduction
Underneath, in smaller font:
“A well-adjusted Pokémon is a well-supported partner.” – Dr. Fennel

Rosie’s eyes lit up. “Oh, finally. A class that gets it.”
