It's the fact that they said it unironically though. But you still get it.

Were you really spending all that time looking through that?

Yes. It's interesting.

<Snipped quote by Balance>

Pretty much. It really is just "Fictional violence is bad because I'm a self-righteous cunt with no spine, and we shouldn't have to read poorly written stories."

I don't think the no spine thing has much bearing. After all, one person who was very squeamed out by it decided that it didn't violate the rules at all. Rather, it seems as if everyone is interpreting every statement differently based on their moral standards, and some people are being more self-righteous about it than others.
EDIT: Like, for example, the essay by John Smith which was quoted in the first half of the Tribunal. I honestly couldn't decide whether the man was advocating or decrying the evil, but the arguments that he was decrying it were much more compelling than the ones saying he was advocating it--those seemed to interpret the statements loosely.
Paraphrased again. Lord Squishy himself: "The 'defendant' did not defend himself by including mention of the severity of his infraction, so therefore none of you are to consider the severity of the punishment. It is a matter of either completely overturning it, or conoletely upholding it."

Which page? But that is, to be sure, really dumb. Lord Squishy, after all, was not the lawyer who wrote the rules.
@Multifarious
I honestly can't decide who to support in this. I read further through it than your original objections, and the things you said became irrelevant over time, and they started all making more or less valid arguments based on the rules. The arguments against the Quest, however, all seem to have a lot of basis in "my morality is the best morality and you are wrong because my morality is superior".

I'll help.
Could some one explain who the crazy lady is though?

Her name is Kirina. She was part of a group called the Nobility, and was actually part of a villain called Mordric, the Forsaken One.

Not many people can execute effective combo attacks.

*Shrugs playfully and leans against the wall*
I mean, I make points. Lots. But good ones are something I don't really strive for.

But multiple people can support each other, whether by attacking the same spot, strengthening the attack, defending, or attacking at another vulnerable spot.

I'm reading over a tribunal right now. Even after all this time, when any potential bias is gone, and I still can't believe the things they say.

Link?

Will it matter? I mean, Sven is the best I know, as far as raw, brute power goes, and I'm pretty sure he could only hold his own. We'd have to outwit him rather than out muscle him, you know?

<Snipped quote by Dynamics>

Good point.

Of course. But more people means more combo attacks. It's easier to deal with a villain if you can get them on several fronts--we still don't necessarily need to out-muscle Mordric.

*gets Techi's text*
Or...I may have found him...

Awesome. Where?
-Ruby- *pulls out my phone after hearing a ding and notices Techi's text as well* The... Nebular Quadrant? Weird name for ap lace. What is it a quadrant of?
-I know that place. I can restrict my search to that area, and I'll get him that much faster.
<Snipped quote by Balance>

If you do, that would be great.

<Snipped quote by Dynamics>

Still makes it sound like a good thing.

Well, I'm starting that process now. It should only take a few minutes. In the meanwhile, who do you think we should bring? Kirina... or Mordric... or whatever... is pretty strong.
@Extra@Dynamics@Multifarious

-Ruby- Saving Shinji would probably be a good idea right about now.
-With just us?
-Ruby- Well, we could get more of us. But we need to find him first.
-Actually, I think I still have the ability to get a location lock on him, since I've been around him and have him prioritised after he's been kidnapped so many times.

Everything everything.

Hi! You can just call me Sayaka. Or Blue. Da ba de da ba di, da ba de da ba di, da ba de.

As far as I can tell, only his memories. Which Ruby is seeking to stop from moving back.
