Thanks again to @SashaWindrider and @Rick Sanchez for being my first two people to submit a character sheet.

As for the many that have shown interest in joining thus far, but haven't submitted a character sheet yet, I will be starting the IC thread on Tuesday. On the following day, Wednesday the 30th, I will stop approving characters. I have already started writing the opening post for the IC section and am excited to post it come Tuesday. I really hope to have a nice core group of mystery loving, adventure seeking, sci-fi fanatic writers come Wednesday.

After that time, you may submit a new character for approval, but it will not be approved until I decide to re-open the RP to more characters. The decision to re-open the RP will be based on how many more people wish to join and how well the RP is handling the amount of characters it already has. I do believe that this RP will be able to handle a large amount of writers, but just in case I am mistaken, this periodical opening and closing of the RP will allow me to further understand if that truly is the case.

I like your character. Personally, I love reading a story of a bio, so kudos! If you want to add info on what you were doing before your were abducted, that would be cool. If you want to save that for IC conversation that's cool too. Just PM me when you are done editing or post a reply here in OOC. As it stands, your are ready for approval.

Hey, guys, sorry I can't be as active as I want to be. Work and stuff, ya know? lol. But I'm reading along, and KI posts will pop in from time to time, usually just in an observatory way. Eventually, on days when I have the time, he will engage other characters.

The East Market - Fantasy/Steampunk Character Development RP - *Rebooted!*

KI's dinner at the Tai shop was exactly what he needed. He even got to dine with a beautiful young woman. Actually, they ate their food quite a good ways away from each other. She most likely never noticed his presence. But her presence was welcome enough.

KI left the shop via his motorbike, intent on returning to the pawn shop to peruse the gadgets he noticed earlier. As he cruised leisurely on his way, events started catching his attention. He saw a lizard boy fly out into the street from an alley way and into a pole. He saw smoke rising from behind some buildings. He saw suspicious flying bots patrolling the area. And as he came in sight of the pawn shop, he noticed guards on their way toward it. There was obviously some very important happenings going on.

In true style to his ancient ninja teachings, KI made no sign that he was interested in the sights around him, no more than any other passerby would be at least. And with the numerouse spy bots patroling the area, he decided it best to lie low and observe from afar. Sitting down at a table in the Windy Whistle Tavern, KI looked out the window, nonchalantly watching the outside of the little pawn shop. With his bike parked out of sight around the corner, KI felt safe that no one from inside the pawn shop would notice his presence.

A waitress came and took his drink order, being that he was too full to eat any more. While waiting for his drink, he observed guards leaving the shop with a young man. At first it seemed like they were going to arrest him, but instead, they had silent words with him and gave him a salute.

The waitress returned soon with his drink. He politely paid for his drink and left a generous tip as well. He then turned his attention back to the pawn shop. Through the windows he could see a few people walking around in there still. Careful not to stare or bring any attention to himself, KI decided to monitor the outside of the building, as it seemed to be a major point of interest. After a few drinks but before becoming intoxicated, he planned to go over and investigate further, under the pretense of browsing through the trinkets.

I'm happy to see the first Character Sheet go up! If you want to edit her biography to be a little more detailed you can. Personally, I would. But if you'd rather explain your character further while playing the game (AKA character development), then that's fine with me.

In other words, feel free to edit your character sheet as you like, letting me know when you are completely satisfied. Just post here in the OOC tab that you are finished, or PM me. It is acceptable as is.

With a formal bow, KI turned and walked out of the shop, being sure to tread a little harder on the ground as he did so. It's too conspicuous to walk around too silently when people can clearly see you with their eyes. He then mounted and started his bike, pulling away from the little shop. As he turned his bike around in the street, he noticed a weapons stand, where a man was handing a woman a very impressive blade in exchange for gold. It had been a while since KI had seen a transaction so primitive, a much bigger fan of digital currency and lines of credit. Making a mental note, to return to that shop as well, KI took off in the direction of the Indian food shop.

Actually, due to the nature of this RP's co-op design, it is an unfair advantage for any one person to control more than one character. So please choose your favorite. When you're finished, post your finished product in the Character section for final approval.

Actually yes. The Character tab is where you submit for approval. I'll then copy your character to the approved character section of the first post.

I'm doing it this way in order to ensure that nobody has the temptation to play with their character's level, special abilities, or special items.

If you ever want to change your bio, picture, or other personal info, all you need to do is edit your character submition post and then alert me via PM that you have changed it. I'll copy and paste your changes no problem.

I just added a Q&A section to the top post of this OOC thread. Will you all please help me fill it? What questions are on your mind? Or what do you think common questions from other people might be?
