Pokemon: Prime

Update...

"Pokemon: Prime" is now completely ready to get started. I've got one trainer on board at the moment but still have room for one or two more. This RP will be a great experience for any Pokemon fan!

Three quick things first: One, this RP is going to have a rich background, but I'd like IC post lengths to be kept fairly short, only a few paragraphs per post. Two, along the same lines, you can be as detailed as you like with your character sheet, or you can go for short and sweet. Three, be sure to check out the 0th IC post; at first glance it looks like nothing is in the IC section (until you actually go to the section and see the 0th post)

Thank you for your interest. Though, I suggest you get it up sooner, even if it's incomplete. You can edit it until it's finished. Once I have a couple of character sheets up, this RP will close. Posting a character sheet is the only way to guarantee a spot. It's all up to you though.

More Info...

So I haven't gotten any bites yet. This makes it seem like some more info is needed to attract someone. Here are some key features that will be in the RP.

• Generational Gyms - The map is divided up into areas. Each area hosts a specific generation. Gym leaders in each area focus on Pokemon from that particular generation, instead of Pokemon-type.
• Maturity - The general feel of this RP will be PG-13 and R. Though, humor won't be tossed aside.
• Blurred Lines - There will be a few different factions that arise in this RP, but it won't always be easy to spot the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys'.
• Worldwide Conflict - Like the Pokemon games, there will be moments of great danger. Usually (but not always) these moments will come from legendary Pokemon.

Looking for one Pokemon fan for a new RP.

Hi there, I have designed a new RP for Pokemon lovers. The structure is pretty standard. You control a trainer starting out on a new adventure. I control all NPCs and have a system set up for randomizing events. There is a gym league. There will be plot twists. And more features will be added as we go along.

All I need at the moment is ONE person that can dedicate two or more posts per week to this RP.

I have a lot of experience with Pokemon RPs, so you better bet this RP is going to be a smooth running machine.

Nicholas (Nick) Dalton

Mission: Lost Necklace
Clearbrook Town: Ski Resort

Tired Music

Nick and his new friend Inari had stayed up all night long looking for the lost necklace. The mission was looking like a lost cause. The ski resort employees had long since given up on the search, but they couldn't manage to convince the two trainers to do the same. Luckily, Nick had the aid of his brand new fire-type Pokemon (Litleo) to help keep them warm and melt the snow. Munchlax also helped search, as his body fat kept him warm. His other two Pokemon weren't as suited for the cold, so they remained in their Pokeballs.

Nick was too tired to notice a rock slightly poking up out of the snow. Down he came with a hard crash, when he tripped over it. The snow cushioned his fall however, so there was no damage done. Still, Litleo and Munchlax both raced to his side to make sure.

He then looked over to Inari, who was only a few feet away. Through a yawn, he managed to get out, "Oops... I'm okay." He then petted the heads of the two Pokemon that had rushed to his aid. They yawned as well. Yawning is contagious after all.

Hello Pokemon Fans!

Welcome to "Pokemon: Prime"

This was originally called "Pokemon: Rivals", but I've decided to change it. Now anyone can apply to join this RP on their own. This is a classically structured Pokemon world, but of course I'll throw in some fresh plot twists.

The only thing I ask is that you expect to be able to post AT LEAST twice a week. Some weeks you may post more. Some weeks you can only get one post up. I understand real life can slow people down, but please do your best.

The lore is deep here, but I'd rather people not write HUGE amounts in the IC section. Keep it casual. (e.g. 3 to 5 paragraphs, give or take)
