Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

@Balthazar007 Don't worry, I'm working on the post and will try to have it ready tonight or tomorrow.

Edit: Post is nearly done.

Awesome, that was a great catch up to speed post. Also, your Brionne can evolve on your next post now. Just be sure to also give a reason for the evolution.

As a reminder to everyone, I'm going to post again this Friday, and I'll be pushing the timeline along by a few days.
@Balthazar007 I'm going to hold off on evolving the Ivysaur until training starts, if that's alright with you, since it's going to make for an odd post of the Ivysaur just magically evolves despite Dana just sitting around in her quarters

Yes, I would rather you do that. That's how it should be. :)
<Snipped quote by Balthazar007>

Ivysaur evovles at 36 unless something changed in one of the recent games.

Something must have changed...

@Balthazar007 Definitely excited (was having a hard time reasoning with this in Dana's case), but are you looking for us to edit it in, or just post again? Wanna check before I make any edits.

I'd prefer you evolve on your next post.

The way it goes is this: You make a post that would increases your level. I then read that post and increase your level accordingly. Then, in your next post, you may evolve, if applicable.

In your case: Your last post took you all the way from January to May. Then I add the levels she earned. Now you may post again to evolve your Ivysaur.

Hey everyone,

I have something you might want to hear. I was thinking about all this time your trainers have been here on Earth and considered it odd that while they were still training and bonding with their Pokemon, their Pokemon weren't growing.

To fix this flaw in logic, I will now add one level to each Pokemon after one IC month ends. This means that all of your Pokemon have grown 4 levels already (for everyone that has kept up with the timeline). Some of your Pokemon are even ready to evolve because of this. Please check out the 0th IC Post; if you're Pokemon has an astrict beside it's species name, that means you can evolve it. To evolve a Pokemon, all you have to do is post about it in the IC section, preferably putting your Pokemon through some strenuous or special condition, thus giving them reason to evolve.

There will be other ways to level up Pokemon in the near future, but for now, this is it.

Thanks!
Awesome. Now, everyone except for @LuckyBlackCat has posted since my last post. If possible, I'd like LuckyBlackCat to have at least one post up by Friday, even if only a short one paragraph post for both characters.

I'd like to push forward a couple days on my next post, probably like three or four days. Basically, that post will summarize the physical trials and general survival skills that those days focused on. And it will also open up our first actual game "tutorial" (how to "search" for Pokemon within your IC posts).

I'd like to make that post Friday night or Saturday morning.
@Balthazar007 Oh I know. Camden was doing "research" on his 3DS haha—that's still fair game, right? Going meta and playing Pokemon games despite there being actual Pokemon now?

Oh! That's what you meant. Lol

Yeah, that's fine. :)
Posted up Camden's part first, since that's the one I finished. I'll get to Dana's part tomorrow, most likely.

You weren't kidding about a longer post, but if you can pump out long posts that quickly, more power to you.

One tiny detail I noticed however. You mentioned a 'Contest Hall' in your post. Just FYI, there are no contests yet. The world is still adapting to Pokemon, and they haven't even started mass producing Pokeballs yet. We're a long way from Pokemon Contests.

But I like your post. It really gives me a feel for Camden.
So much ground to cover with the time skip. Gonna try to paraphrase some but my post's still probably going to be obscenely long... Which just means more fun writing!

Whether you paraphrase or write a long post, it's all good.
May I please get these two posts removed? I accidentally triple posted somehow. Been here for years, and this is the first time I've done this. lol
