Birth Name: Sir Lancelot du Lac

Alter Ego: The Dragon Knight

Gender: Male

Age: He appears 27 in his human appearance, but he is as old as the fall of Camelot.

Country of Origin: Camelot

Archetype: Supernatural

Allegiance: Champions

Appearance:

Powers/Skills: As a dragon, he is immortal against time and has great physical ability. With inhuman levels of strength, speed, endurance, and durability. He can fly with the use of his wings that are present in all forms. He has a great sense of smell, and Vision, his eyes illuminate like dim candles in the dark.

He has an undefined immunity to heat, being completely unable to burn or be damaged by heat in even the most harsh temperatures, molten rock, or theoretical plasma from the sun.

He can create and manipulate flames, but only from using his body as the source for the fire. Meaning that he cannot simply make things spontaneously combust other then himself. This includes breathing fire, igniting his own body, throwing fire balls, etc.

He is skilled with both his lance and straight sword, which he has kept in well condition since the dark ages. He possesses magic that can summon and unsummon his equipment at will, and he has a set of armor and a giant axe for his semi form.

Being cold blooded, he cannot survive well in cold enviorments. He can use his own fire to warm himself but this method exhausts him overtime. Ice based attacks and others of the sort are especially effective against him. Each form is stronger then the last, but has less equipment for his skill with the blade. The scales of both his semi and full dragon form are as strong as steel, except for the belly which have soft vulnerable scutes. The armor in his semi form as a result covers the chest instead of other areas like the back, but his full form, while his strongest form, lacks any sort of additional armor or weaponry.

He can control his semi form well, but he has difficultly in controlling his full form. Since kilgarrah still desires full freedom he often tries to 'take the steering wheel' as it were and go on a draconic rampage, this and even if he had control over kilgarrah, the sheer size and strength is difficult to contain in a city environment without unwanted destruction and damage to the team. And it being difficult to focus on a single enemy. As a result he will only use this form on the rare occasion where it is fitted, such as fighting an army or another giant monster.

Equipment/Resources: Both sets of armor, giant axe, sword, and lance are kept away and summoned by magic at will, and can be usummoned just as fast, rarely will he carry anything else.

Biography: Many are familiar with Lancelot, best friend to the king and despised for his betrayal. Though none of the stories tell of Lancelot's true fate or the fall of Camelot. Another popular figure of the story, Kilgarrah, describes as one of the strongest dragons of the time and kept sealed under the castle, had spoken to Lancelot not long after Merlin had denied kilgarrah his plans of freedom. Lancelot was lead to kilgarrah chamber, and promised him power and glory in exchange to forming a pact with the dragon. This pact would lock their souls as one, allowing kilgarrah to escape his prison and Lancelot to gain the power he seeks to reclaim his honor. It was no suprise to see Lancelot accept this offer, much to kilgarrah's expectations. And so the dragon knight was born. What happened next, not even Lancelot himself truly remembers. As it was centuries ago. But the kingdom fell in combination to destructive forces and the dragon knight himself seeking vengence for his exile. Afterwards, as the supernatural seemed to start to disappear and hibernate from the world. So did Lancelot, who no longer had a purpose in life and simply fell into slumber beneath the buried ruins of Camelot. Then near recent times, the arrival of heroes, kilgarrah awoken, and had discovered a brand new world before him. With the rise of heroes and villains, Lancelot now saw a chance to truly reclaim his name and redeem his previous villainy. He joined the champions in a heart beat and in exchanges displayed his destructive power against the enemy, though this resulted much in unintentional civilian destruction which did help tarter their good name. When the team had splintered off, kilgarrah stayed as to not abandon the team he sided with, both from guilt of Camelot, and an optimistic pride in reclaiming the good name of the team.

Special Notes: Being two people at once, while he refers to himself as Lancelot, kilgarrah is still just as active in his being, and at times he may have fits of rage, greed, or prideful boasts fit for his draconic lineage.
@Polyphemus

Yeah he is partially responsible so I would imagine he's on the wanted list
@MrDidact

Yeah the dragon form relies on brute force and firepower instead of skill like his human form, the semi form has little bit of both. Aside from straight up control, its difficult for Lancelot to use his full dragon form accurately since being so big and strong makes it difficult to not only pin down on a single enemy but also avoiding unwanted destruction from both allies and civilians and their cities. I'll include both of those flaws in the cs. Anything else?

Edit: He also has no real defences against magic. Just that he's essentially immune to fire or other heat based attacks in any form, and that he has physical endurance so that he can tank alot of damage. Cold based attacks are an effective factor against him but he is just as vulnerable to most of the arcane as anyone else.

Darish, the city of technology. Exclusively a high tech capital among a fantasy world, frowning upon magic and the sorts. Being in control of a functioning theocracy, and armed police forces, many supernatural and dangerous factors have been outlawed by the city-state.

Weapons: High powered ballistic weapons are the most common and available weaponry, from handguns to shotguns and rifles, though plasma based laser weaponry dies exist, often used by higher officers. Foreign weaponry are not as advanced, aside from antique weapons and muskets, you would typically find your fantasy weapon of a sword or bow of sorts. Enchantments and enchanted or legendary weaponry do exist. You are allowed to create weapons of any variety for your character, but if I find it too op I will ask you to Nerf it. If it is legendary item then back story on the item itself is appreciated.

Race:
Your typical fantasy races exist in this world. And in this city its rather mixed. However you will be playing as one of the following:

Vampire: Straightforward. Bloodsucker of the night. Vampires have unnaturally high speed and strength capabilities, however they can only consume blood for sustenance. While vampires are immortal, and can regenerate, their are a few methods to break their mortality. Sunlight of course burns vampires almost like acid, and prevents regeneration while they are under the light. Holy water has the same effect, and blessed or holy items can hinder their senses. Their hearts are their achilles's heel. If it is destroyed, they die and shrivel to dust.
Any mortal race such as a type of elf or orc can become a vampire. Vampires are also immune to most if not all biological pathogens and other troubles that mortals typically deal with. They do not need to breathe either. However a vampire must feed at least once a day or else they start going mad. The longer they go without blood for a day the more they loose control of their sanity and rage. Victims that are bitten by vampires for just a small drink aren't effected, but if one were to suck a victim completely dry they too turn into vampires. Additionally, a vampire can create a ghoul, or slave, if they suck blood from the head or skull.

Werewolf/werecreature: Werewolves are the most common but other creatures like a lion or horse are possible for were features. Like vampires they are immortal though with a few weaknesses. Holy or blessed objects can hinder their senses, holy water can blind then entirely for a good while. Silver can kill a werewolf if it strikes what would be a fatal wound, they can regenerate otherwise. While it is possible to control their powers werewolves it is difficult to learn so. If they cannot control their powers, then they ofcourse turn into rabid half-beasts at the sight of the full moon.

Witches: Witches are another immortal with the exception of vulnerabilities. A witch can possess or learn various forms of magic but are always aligned with dark magic first. Witches are all females, but can be most mortal races such as a human, elf, etc. A witch can also make use of magical items such as a crystal ball or flying broom. They can regenerate, and do not age, much like werewolves and vampires. However witches melt like wax from the ground up upon contact with water. Fortunately liquids they are not entirely water like alchohal or soda do not affect them. Even dangerous acids do not harm witches. A witch can regenerate if she isnt wet, but if a witch is completely destroyed then its game over. When wet with water, they also are drained of their mana, making spell casting and use of magic nearly impossible.

Contracted: A mortal that makes a pact with a demon or god, usually a god of nuetral or evil alignment. The pact allows them to use demonicka, a unique power exclusive to the contracted that is a direct translation of their god or demon's powers into the form of energy called demonicka, or demon magic. It does not run on mana however, so it is not considered magic, instead it runs off of the user itself. The potential of energy is infinite, but the more they use their powers the more it starts to damage or hurt them. If they use too much in one sitting, they die. The method in how the power hurts them varies, and how much one could use without dying depends on physical endurance and training. They are mortals, but do have some spiritual based protection from their god or demon.

If you have a suggestion for another race, or if you want something else but not sure, let me know and ill assist you with that, though I would prefer it if most participants pick one of these four races.

The secret society (run by my character) are a bunch of unwanted supernatural creatures that are supposed to be exiled from the city, but stay for reasons unique to each individual. The society protects each other from the city, team work is an essential factor. Sometimes there may be a falling out and members fight each other, but for the most part the society treats itself like a family.

Rules:
-no godmodding, or metagaming. If your char is too op I will give advice into how to Nerf the char properly. And make sure that what you know and what your char knows are different

-at least two paragraphs per post. I recommend doing collabs, but if a collab isn't necessary or you can meet the two paragraph requirement then it isn't needed.

-This RP will involve heavy violence and other adult themes at time, however no smut. If characters are about to perform that, switch to a pm for it or skip it entirely and leave it implied or suggested.

-If you need help or have any questions, please ask me, the world has a very complicated lore.

-Be creative, much of this world is built upon many different aspects and logics, on the rare chance that a piece of your creation, be it character or back story, defies it, I will correct you on how to fix it.

-I'd prefer if everyone stuck to one character at a time, you may make a new one if your character dies or is out of play for some reason. (for example, leaving the city, or being sealed away.) If you feel that you can keep up with using two or more characters at a time then I wont stop you.

-Put your char sheet in the OOC so I can review it first.

-I'm not a grammar nazi as I make mistakes too, but I would like to see quality in each post at the very least. If you don't have much to do with your char you can at least help describe the visuals of the character or the surroundings in one way.

-If anyone has any ideas for key points in the story or get the plot moving, feel free to suggest them. If you would like some plot twists you can pm me the twists so others wont be spoiled.

@fdeviant

"scales huh?" I said lifting the axe over my shoulder. "Thats a first, I like it. You're new here right?" I asked with a cocky smile fit for my young adult status. I tried to ignore the fact that she almost treated me as a child behind her friendly nature. "Have you been in Maine at all before?" With a spare hand i would wipe away the bangs of my messy black hair from my large blue eyes, as I leaned the massive blade of the axe against my shoulder.

While I waited for a response I quickly glanced around the room to check on what my other co workers were planning before focusing on the lovely yet wicked woman standing before me.
Jackal "Ventmaw" Westari

Jackal seeing as Henri seemed a bit twitchy after he had performed such a brutal act. He would make a mental note to keep his violent nature more 'tame' as they call it. As to not offend any of his comrades. He let the others do their parts of action, even the small girl could defend herself it seems. It would be disrespectful if he took away the honor of battle from them. Aside from that he had already displayed his brutal nature, best not to continue to leave a worse impression. Then again he wasn't the only one who seemed to enjoy the scent of bloodshed. The Gorgas looked down at one of the corpses made by his allies, who were preoccupied themselves with battle.

He would stay back from the group a bit in silence, and while he team wasn't looking he took a nicely large chunk of man-flesh from the chest of the human prisoner's body. Chewing the gore he swallowed with relative ease, hopefully no one had noticed. He would sprint back to the group, flames would suddenly spew from his lips and spray over the crowds of prisoners still standing in their route to escape. The breathe weapon was more intended to spread like a house and discourage the living obstacles more, rather then being directly lethal or accurate, that didnt mean some poor unfortunate inmates were caught ablaze or badly scathed by the flames. Jackal would continue to rush forward, even in cuffs around his four hands his brute strength and speed were made apparent as he charged past the line of his allies and trampling over a few foes that were trying to put themselves out. He stopped across the distance of the room to wait for the others to catch up. This was to not only ensure their safety but also ensure that he wouldn't get lost trying to find the mystical vehicle that travels the heavens that was assigned to them. He wasn't sure what to call them though had heard most claimed the title of spaceship or vessel.

Alright I updated the char sheet, does it still need work?
@Morpheus297
