Oh boy, ice, Jackal's Favorite. First mission and already the giant monster can't get to the front lines, lol.

Edit: So anyone wanna volunteer to be alone in the ship with a giant reptile?
This has my interest, though my only experience with table top is rl dnd, I have no experience how it works online and I have little experience to begin with, though I know the basics of it mechanics wise I guess.
I think Lancelot will have to drop out on the orgy party. Chivalrous Knights are on a diet, no milk.
I finished the mutation category of the dragon post, and tweaked it a bit for the notes you left me. Also before I make the second character I wanted to introduce the mount he has first to see your thoughts.
Unfinished

"A bit lazy, but this big guy is better then any horse or mut"

Nickname: Riapsid

Species: Rock Lizards, a basilisk-type dragon

Note-worthy traits:

-While Rock lizards are basilisks, they do not have the infamous 'stone gaze' that rarer species have. However, this species of basilisks have two note worthy toxic properties. They possess a venom in their mouths similar to some monitor lizards, which acts as a blood thinner, preventing blood cells from clotting, in addition to making the infected victim slowly gain exhaustion overtime until they drop unconscious. Additionally, they are one of the few basilisks with a breathe weapon. They can exhume a type of fire that burns off of a noxious chemical gas, doubling both as a stream of flames that can burn flesh without trouble, and leaving a lingering smoke that causes nausea, uncontrollable coughing, and the distorting of both vision and scent senses.

-Their forked tongues can pick up scent trails up to 9 miles away, and they can pin down that scent with near accuracy due to the nature of the tongue. (Think of it like a tuning fork.) They have fairly good vision, though in the dark instead of having illuminated eyes like most dragons, their eyes simply go dark, covered by a thin membrane that makes the eye appear entirely black. This membrane acts in a similar matter to those on a pit viper, which gives the eyes essentially heat-sensing vision, which effectively allows them to see in the dark, or at least, things in the dark.

-Their scales are about as strong as iron, sharply keeled and difficult to penetrate, with the exception of the belly. The paler scales on the lower half of the beast are just as vulnerable as human skin, unlike the rest of their scales. Their tails have a sharp tip that can impale or slash flesh, and if they miss that in a tail whip, there is still the rest of the long muscular tail a typical target would have to avoid from having a rib shattered.

-They are as strong as they look, their claws are sharp and tough enough to essentially dig through stone, and they can burden great amounts of weight. With the average Adult weighed between 1 and 2 tons, they can carry almost 150% their body weight. And can grow up to 26 feet in length. Their jaw strength is strong enough to leave dents in moderately strong metals like iron, including teeth marks. Their slightly long necks have a snake-like design, and they can strike as fast as a rattlesnake and have a reach of 2 meters. However their bite is more like a gila monster, not letting go of their target and injecting as much as venom as they can (since the venom lies in the saliva rather then the teeth, the process is slower then the typical process.), or may even try to rely on force, thrashing whatever their holding in their mouth around violently like a fierce lizard to tear apart their prey or try to simply crush and swallow slowly with great jaw pressure.

-Speed wise they can be pretty fast, the average Rock lizard can sprint up to 35 mph, however they lack the same endurance as a horse, so such sprints are short lived. They only rivaling them at a walking speed for distance. They can however, maneuver over many surfaces. They are fairly good swimmers (Though there isn't a lot of places to swim today), and they can scale almost any wall almost as easily as walking on a flat surface. Large trees, flat rocky walls, bumpy walls, and terrain that would normally be unsuitable for most mounts can be traversed.

Flaws of the species and the disadvantages of owning one:

-Being cold-blooded, they should be kept very warm under the occasional cold desert nights

-They tend to be lethargic, especially during mid-day, when they love to sun bathe. Even a well trained Rock Lizard might ignore commands for the sake of its own laziness.

-Many dragons can bond with tamers, however most, like the Rock Lizard, only really bond with a single person, which means any other person is considered food to them, or at the very least something it has no concern with. This means that they should be taken under precaution when entering a town or being with anyone else, as they may try to snag one or two innocent civilians in their diet.

-Their breathe weapon's toxic gas is difficult to direct, and while the dragon itself is immune, the rider isn't so fortunate.

-They may get distracted by the sight of prey, while it can be easy to try and teach them not eat people, it is more challenging to train them not to chase coyotes or a stray demon. In pursuit this can potentially put both the rider and the dragon at risk.

-tend to eat and drink alot, so their upkeep is expensive. They may also steal some provisions if you don't keep your eye on them
@Polyphemus I made the same intentionally since when hes speaking the only distinction between kilgarrah and lancelot is by emotion and ideal, which can at time be confusing, but thats sort of the point. If an outsider listened in to the rant they would either assume that lancelot is just crazy or they wouldn't really be able to distinguish between lancelot and kilgarrah that well. They share the same voice, body, and mind after all.
So hows my post?
Sir Lancelot Kilgarrah Du Lac, The Dragon Knight

The peaceful meadows of a European sacred grove was Lancelot's favorite places to rest. Or at least it was until someone had destroyed it, burning it to the ground and leaving it as a desolate, firey crater. "Bloody Hell Kilgarrah, I know I already scolded you for burning this meadow..." The knight started as he was training with a burnt stuffed dummy, landing various physical blows across its body with armored jolts of legs, elbows, and punches. In between attacking the dummy, he continued. "But if were going to be 'heroes' we need to cut back on the destruction. I thought Nagoya had taught us to be careful when we use our abilities. And you wonder why I don't let you have your freedom."

There was a silence between beating the dummy. Lancelot was holding back strength, so as to not ruin the dummy so quickly so he could focus on more so the skill and technique of his blows rather then its raw power. This was a necessary shift in play, as he needed to learn how to control his strength. The nature of his laid back attacks seemed to shift away though as he began arguing with himself. "Like were the only ones that caused trouble. Cosmic boy over there did a plenty on em to you know" With each change in stance of his argument towards himself, his method of attacking changed against the training dummy. "That isn't the point, Kilgarrah. I made a contract with you to reclaim my honor and redeem my sin, yet here I am again destroying something else as well!" A solid punch cleaved the head off of the test dummy. "You?! The correct terminology is we, fool, we are one now. And I gave you that contract so I can be FREE." His voice shook the earth beneath him at that point. "My strength has not only been diluted by merging with you, a cost I expected of course, but what I didn't expect is the oh so famous knight of betrayal have a heart. Don't you remember what you did to your "Best Friend?"" Lancelot stressed the last words as if tauntingly, shifting from utter rage into cruel mockery in a single sentence. The expression quickly changed to a different mood of anger and regret. "What I did was inexcusable, but that doesn't make me a-" His voice was cut off as he stopped his attacks against the dummy, his tail showing itself before him. "Monster..." He paused, with a defeated tone. "Were supposed to be one, we cannot be if we are on different stances."

"Kilgarrah, as much as I would love to agree with you, we are not villains, we need to control ourselves. Not just for our reputation, but for the champions."

"You humans are always so 'honorable' it amuses me. I could care less about the race entirely, let their idiocy and fake morales kill them in the end. Why don't we end it faster by burning it all?"

"You had a heart once too Kilgarrah."

"That was before your kind imprisoned me, just like how the world will imprison us for our power."

"But if you listen to me then that won't happen. Kilgarrah you are typically the smarter and more wise half but your stubborn lust for this 'freedom' you speak of is a detriment to everyone else. If I let you take control again I doubt we will be spared again."

"The only reason we lost is because you managed to hold me back."

"Your pride blinds you Kilgarrah, I only stopped you for several moments, and those moments were brief. Admittedly, your stubborn desire for destruction keeps me at bay once I let you go."

"If you worked with me, then nothing would have stopped us."

"Even if that is true, we are here to save them."

"Exactly, were doing them a favor by putting them out of there misery. Look at the world Lancelot, almost everyone is corrupt or too foolish to deserve life."
At this point, there was no dummy, just a smoldering crate with stuffing remains of a broken one. "We can't betray them, nor can we betray humanity. So I'm keeping you on a leash from now on, Dragon."

Now Lancelot punched the ground with great force, sending a small tremor and a pillar of fire around him in a fit of temporary rage.
"I thought we agreed we won't be doing this." Lancelot struggled to raise his fist off the ground and lower his temper. That was when he got the call. His out-loud thoughts were broken as they were informed of a criminal in Australia. "Right away, I will be heading there soon." He contacted back the call before having his wings spread apart and take off into the sky, soaring into the air and heading south east. Next destination, Australia.
