Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Bio

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

@Kafka Komedy You, uh, did not say that he'd deliberately vampirised Milo, no. You might also want to explain how exactly Roy managed to keep up a marriage with a human woman when the daylight hours were inaccessible to him... maybe integrate him vampirising Milo as the reason he ran off, rather than "his master died years ago", and all that.
@Kafka Komedy Reminder that you don't become a vampire by having a vampire for a parent, though such a being might well inherit their nature if they were already evil before becoming a vampire. Milo would need to have put on the Stone Mask to become a vampire himself. That, or Roy kills him and uses his vampire blood to vampirise him. Also, you've got your timings screwed up; 1985 is when the 「Event」 happens, and since Milo is only 17, he wouldn't have been born until 1999, since the game is set in 2016. That bears being blunt about.
@Kafka Komedy Well, "useless" is relative. He is still a vampire with massively superhuman strength, after all, so the ability to bring that to bear against something he'd be otherwise unable to strike is a big plus. Just gotta stay out of the sunlight, is the thing...
@Kafka Komedy Well, if you want to keep it as a bound Stand, you could always tie it to a knife or sword something and have that be capable of damaging Stands directly by itself being a Stand, in addition to whatever other effect it has. Maybe subsequent ACTs upgrade the weapon to progressively larger weapons in addition to granting more effects, if you still want to do that with the Stand. Also, you can just copy-paste those quote marks from other people. Here's a clean set to insert text between: 「」
@Sho Minazuki The bio is complete. I've conveniently placed them both in Heaven for the purposes of briefing, easy placement to any location on Earth that's needed, and etcetera. Starting techniques will hopefully be completed soon-ish.
@Kafka Komedy Sup, bruh. I believe, as far as JJBA goes, that we could assume/state the following about vampires, Stands, and the like:

  • The Stone Mask probably exists in this universe, since that's the primary reason vampires exist at all. Dio might exist, but would be long-dead by 2016, or indeed by 1999 when Milo would have to be born.
  • The only other way to become a vampire is to die and be revived by the vampire supplying some of its own blood. Being drained of life (and/or having your blood replaced with... "vampire extract", though they may just be the same technique, or the vampire extract infection might be an extension of the blood/life draining process) by a vampire turns you into a "mere" zombie, whilst the child of a vampire is always human, at least when only one parent is a vampire (no known cases of double-vampire parentage).
  • Your Stand is insanely weak, considering that Stand users can see other Stands anyway, and figuring out who owns what Stand typically isn't hard either.
  • Vampires who knew the Ripple in their past life die if they try to use the Ripple as a vampire, as shown with Straizo. They may in fact be less powerful for it to boot, something not necessarily compensated for by knowing how to deal with the Ripple-infused attacks of others.
  • Nick will consider Milo an enemy regardless of Milo's personality. Vampires tend to become rather evil for various reasons, not least of which is the loss of their "humanity", which I can only assume means the empathy they'd otherwise feel with human beings; there's no reason to assume Milo would be any different in that case, even if he is.
  • No, really, that's the sort of Stand Speedwagon would have if they'd existed at the time of Phantom Blood or Battle Tendency, and I highly recommend having it do more from the get-go than what you've given it. I'm not sure what I'd suggest as an ability which could do that, is the problem...
@POOHEAD189 Hell yeah, son. Light-hearted adventuring, to counteract the dark-hearted mercenarying in your other game.
Not gonna lie, I'm kind of expecting somebody in the castle raiding party to get angry at Nuva for doing a reckless thing. Anyways, elven prisoner. Cool. That interaction should be interesting.
Yes.
@Sho Minazuki
1. Alright, cool. Soul absorption and resurrection can be added on to Evolution Blastoff, then.

2. Uh... yeah, that's fair enough. My reasoning behind that is that Iscah and Iacobos are... well, I'm not entirely clear on the details yet, but I'm half-thinking they might have been more built than born, and deliberately imbued with more combat knowledge and abilities than the average Grace and Glory, up to and including techniques from the Lumen Sages. Perhaps an attempt to remove the human side of the equation entirely so that the Hierarchy can focus on their own agents more freely? I don't know if it'd be harder to build angels for a specific purpose than humans, since I don't know how they usually produce Laguna angels (Affinities aside), but I'd presume it's easier for angels to understand angelic body structure than the human equivalent, since they are angels themselves. I can make them both human Lumen Sages, of course, but that defeats the purpose of the Grace/Glory theme somewhat.

3. Right, right. Like I said before, Devastation Protection is pretty much just the normal combat style of a Grace with shields implemented, whilst Star Extend is basically "fire a gun, but make it shoot faster than normal with electricity", both of which can be represented as basic techniques. So.

4. Yep. I'll get on that ASAP. Considering what you've said, I'd want to produce combination techniques too... maybe replace Light Speed with something that lets Iscah and Iacobos work together to coordinate attacks, and either integrate Light Speed as a basic technique (since its only purpose is slowing time, after all), add in the Light Speed Style later on, or excise it altogether.

EDIT: Right, a few changes to styles have been made, and Star Extend and Light Speed (under consideration) have been made techniques. Further additions will be provided soon enough.
