@Kafka Komedy ...maybe he's also a necromancer. Probably not, depending on how necromancy works in this setting - how evil is it, like does it actually utilise a corruptive form of Lapi that turns the user evil, or is it just culturally distasteful to reanimate a corpse as basically a mindless robot? And since he's mastered one form of Lapi anyway, I'm wondering how much he's invested into being a wizard... I suppose he would have access to the Khint Alchemist Guild, being the king and all, am I right? If so, a couple thousand years isn't exactly a short period of time in which to master, or at least figure out the use of, a fair few types of Lapi. Any objections, Kafka?

@Kafka Komedy Thanks for the info about Perinne's king. Since any humanoid race is allowed up to and including half-dragons, I'm thinking he'll probably be an elf (are there delineations between different races of elf? I'll make him the equivalent of a high elf if there are), with perhaps a small amount of draconic heritage from many generations back, nothing exceptionally notable.

Now, I'm thinking two major flaws for him. First off, he tends to make decisions without taking action to inform the general populace, resulting in situations where, for instance, taxes are raised to help fund the kingdom, and then 75% of the peasantry finds itself incapable of paying the taxmen because they didn't realise they needed to save up more than they usually would. This has led to particular resentment, as the kingdom's recently been going through a tough spot necessitating a lot of hard decisions, many of which have naturally been rather difficult on the working class.

And secondly, he's been the king for about a thousand years past his due date. Or rather, his extended reign is a direct consequence of the actual flaw in his personality, which is an overpowering fear of death; due to this, he has been utilising a particular form of Lapi that slows the aging process of the user, and in fact mastered it a long time ago to the point that it's unclear whether or not he still ages at all. Naturally, the populace wouldn't be happy about a king who remained in power for so absurdly long, so he actually faked his own death a while ago, and has since held fake coronation sessions for every descendant since, complete with false crown; of course, since their great⁷-grandfather never actually died, the man in question is still the real king, even if they're the public face of the throne. Naturally, rumours have always been a thing, and it was inevitable that the truth would out sooner or later, say just before the Glanz begin their rebellion.

Of course, everyone is kind of upset about that revelation, and there's no point pretending you're not king once the country's figured it out, so he's officially back in power for as long as he continues to live, triggering fairly substantial dissent across the country, most notably the Glanz rebels, who clearly think a king who doesn't tell the populace what he's doing and who could be in power for the rest of time is an utterly intolerable situation. Is all that any good, or is it a bit iffy in some regards?

Alright, I'm certainly interested in participating in this, perhaps as the Perinne Empire's king if nobody else wants that role; a bit of a miscommunication-based palaver happened last time I attempted to sign up for a codified role in a game, so before anything else, I'd like to ask whether there's anything specific you'd want me to include in the king's profile, and whether there's anything specific that he in particular would be unable to utilise or otherwise be forbidden from being, e.g. a race other than human or something. Along similar lines, what other races even exist in this world? Elves, dwarves, dragons, that sort of thing?

@Kafka Komedy Responded to you. It is about this point in time that Nick ought to learn that the Ripple and his own physical power won't be able to damage Stands at all, even weak ones like 「Heart Of Glass」.

Some of Nick's fury is quenched for a moment as he registers the absurd request of the vampire. He wants to see my... stand? Nick asks himself. Like a nightstand, or a music stand, or something? Yet he put so much importance on the word, like it meant something significant... The Kaiser Chief decides rather quickly that perhaps this is something to be figured out for another time, since right now, he has a vampire to slay.

'If you wanted a nightstand,' Nick continues soon enough, cracking his neck to try and regain his momentum, 'you should have gone to the furniture store! All you're going to get here is filled with daylight!' The Ripple Master takes a step back as he says this, breathing inward, his fists beginning to crackle with the life energy that is so lethal to the undead beings of the world, then throwing his palm forward toward the monstrosity's face with a yell of 'Wide Crack OVERDRIVE!' The technique, though not one of Nick's preferred punches, will nonetheless hit (if allowed to) with enough force to shatter a normal human's jaw on impact, forcing a shockwave of Ripple energy through the target, essentially striking the entire front of their body at once. In a normal human, this would forcibly fling them back quite some way; against an undead creature like this vampire, it will charge their entire bloodstream with the Ripple at once, instantly disintegrating them and ending their foul life on the spot, scattering their ashes to make sure those can't be recovered just to be sure.

Anyways, Malcolm looks just fine, and 「King Kunta」 seems like a very good punchghost in my opinion. Still gotta get @Dark Eternity looking these over, but otherwise, all seems well enough.

@CaptainCaptcha I was going to wait for @Dark Eternity to give his opinion, but so long as I'm here and he's not, I think your character is very well written, though I might suggest bolding the headers for each section just to make it clearer where a new section begins. I will say that 「Gorillaz」 as a Stand is rather similar to 「Weather Report」, being that both control the weather to some extent, but considering their differences - namely that 「Weather Report」 actively controls the weather whilst 「Gorillaz」 has to let it change on its own before it can use specific abilities - I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with it.

@Kafka Komedy@Gentlemanvaultboy Actually, you probably could do it with a human, if you were at least modestly careful about the sensitive areas. Contrary to what Gmvb has suggested, humans can survive mortal injuries to the heart for a while, and even recover fully from a puncture wound through the organ about 33% of the time, given appropriate medical care. And two important things to remember about JJBA are the fact that JoJo humans are pretty much confirmed to have substantially more blood than real world humans, and the timescales of JoJo protagonists and antagonists are massively warped compared to the actual passage of time - aside from anything else, DIO can apparently supply monologues and actions of a minute or two within five seconds of stopped time, and an entire car can be destroyed, the wreckage passed through, and the car then restored to its undamaged state by Josuke without the driver noticing a thing, never mind that nearly any injury at all, even headshots that ought to be instantly lethal, give the pro/antagonist several seconds of subjective time to lament and even chat about their sudden demise unless their entire head has literally exploded. In other words, it's totally feasible that Vitalogy could, for instance, tear a human's arm off, plant a seed, and have the seed grow into a brand new plant arm, and all the human would realise is that their arm is now suddenly made of tree. Even brain damage is survivable, to reasonable degrees, which could be supplemented by taking the organ apart piecemeal, say in strips of brain matter, and regrowing each section as it gets removed; maybe a couple of seconds later, their entire body is tree, and all they can do about it is scream in horror at their new tree-body. And so on.

Of course, we're not even talking about mere mortal humans. We're discussing the advantages of vampire-to-plant transformation. And I think Gmvb would be right, in that you'd end up with an entirely new species... of vampire, rather than human, since the entity you've transformed is a vampire, and they'd therefore retain their vampiric mindset, inhumanity and all. And that includes their weaknesses, too: the thing about vampires is that their dissolving into ash when exposed to the Sun isn't simply because their cells overreact to UV light, but because they literally have no soul, and are therefore held together by their own willpower rather than anything resembling life energy, with the result that life energy itself, as transmitted in sufficiently-large quantities by both the Ripple and UV radiation such as from sunlight, proves to be fatal for them. Yes, they'd be made of plant, but it'd be plant without any soul or life energy in it, and it would therefore be as weak to sunlight as before. And of course, since said plant matter needs sunlight to grow properly, transforming a vampire into a plantpire would effectively be a delayed death sentence for them as their body slowly begins to die for lack of energy... unless it doesn't because blood draining and vampire logic, I'm sure there's at least one vampire in-series with like a cactus or something fused into his face, but either way, they shouldn't gain the ability to move in sunlight just because they're now a flower human and/or vampire.
