Shine City II: The Next Season

Kyle couldn't help but stifle his laughing as the man could hardly contain his yawning. Clearly he wasn't prepared for the morning, Kyle could usually relate, but he had actually gotten to sleep at a decent hour last night, who knows what this man was up to.

"No apologies friend, the name's Parker, Kyle Parker. To answer your question I WAS a student, me and university didn't agree and I'll leave it at that to spare you all the gory details of my failings. I wouldn't have had you for a teacher, but my roommate at the time seemed to-"

Kyle paused realizing that this man was suddenly distracted by something, turning to face whatever it was, Kyle could hardly blame him as the sight came into view. A beautiful young woman, long golden locks, a tattoo adorning her face and those eyes, damn those eyes. Though he didn't hear the words of his new acquaintance he stepped back in near synchronization all the same to allow the girl towards the bulletin board to put up...flyers or something, Kyle was dumbstruck, absolutely slack jawed. Realizing he was finally staring, Kyle quickly turned around and felt his face heating up, his hands shaking slightly, "What in the hell? he thought. Normally he was confident enough, but for whatever reason he felt like jelly in the presence of this girl...he had to talk to her, but that thought absolutely terrified him.

"What the hell am I doing, she is way out of my league, I don'- ...seriously what the hell am I doing? Doubting myself?" Maybe it was the weed making him extra anxious, but something was conflicting him from approaching her and just saying hello. Hell he wanted to do more than that, actually talk to her, have a conversation, how to convince her though...he knew the answer. Breathing in deeply he steeled himself, barely noticing Shou walking off in the other direction to do gods know what; Kyle was on a mission!

Kyle approached the girl as she was posting up her flyer, "Excuse me, miss, may I uh-... um... (oh crap...)," as she turned to face him her eyes suddenly pierced his vision again and his brain went to jelly, cursing under his breath in English he tried to regain his composure; he gulped down his words and tried again.

"Hi, I'm Kyle Parker, could I interest you in some breakfast?oh yea...this'll go over well."

Bio/Personality: Mr. Hiroshi can be a bit of a loud and boisterous man, with a laugh as large as his belly and just as large a thirst. For a man who's as old as he is, most would assume him to retire or live somewhere a bit quieter, but he always says, "I thrive where the youth live, there's a fire in them that I just can't get enough of." He's known to out drink anyone who dares to challenge him, earning him the title of "The Dwarf of Japan".

Hiroshi met Dr. Dajianus some years ago and traveled across Europe with him for several months. Inspired by their travels they started a business together in Shine City, to give those an option of eyewear that was outside their normal culture.

Bio/Personality: Dr. Giles Dajianus is a man who's a bit rough around the edges, cynical with a slightly intimidating personality. Despite how he may physically appear on the outside, he is a man who has a passion for his work, cares deeply for his patients and isn't afraid to tell someone they're being an idiot if its a matter of health and safety. Because of his deep rooted professionalism he doesn't accept shoddy work and will only do things by the book.

Dr. Dajianus was born in the UK and there earned his license and medical degree. It wouldn't be for some time in his service to the industry (and marriage) that he'd be introduced to Mr. Hiroshi. From there, inspired by their travels across Europe they went into a business partnership together and opened "An Eye For Fashion" in Shine City.

The cold winds brushed against his face, but he didn't mind, he felt alive and the air smelt and felt fresh; it was a good feeling. He did notice however that his vision seemed slightly off, reaching up for his face he realized at this point that he forgot to put on his glasses. Kyle mentally slapped himself, but just as quickly let it go, he did this all the time and fortunately his vision wasn't SO bad that he needed his glasses, not like the high myopes that frequented the shop. Sighing slightly he pushed on further down the street coming to the ever familiar sign of the Mochavine cafe.

Considering how late in the morning it was, Kyle wasn't too terribly surprised to find the place packed full of patrons all getting their morning fix of coffee, bagels and (Kyle's personal favorite) scones. "Morning." Kyle nodded to the man standing by the entrance. Looking around, the bar itself already had a few patrons lined up against it and the tables were either full or were single tables with a free seat opposite of another patron. He personally didn't mind going up to a table and asking if there was a spot free, but judging by the man standing by the entrance still, this was a "wait to be seated" establishment. With this in mind he decided to just stand by and strike up a conversation with the gentleman.

"Pretty packed today, not too surprising though, weather is beautiful out there." He looked over towards the man, bright silver hair, spectacles on his face, look of casual professionalism...he looks familiar...Kyle goes through his memories of a time when he went to the academy, a roommate mentioning a silver haired professor...

"Don't you work at the academy?"
