I mostly enjoy writing in the Casual section of the guild. Character development and exploring character relationships motivate me. I like to really think myself into my character and their view on others and the world around them which is why I prefer to stick to one character per roleplay. I love world-building but I am also easily overwhelmed with very detailed concepts I haven't been met with before. So you could say I love a decent amount of world-building and prefer original builds. Once everyone has settled, expanding that world and its concept is a great way to create more depth and keep me as a player hooked as I love to discover new things!
My favorite genre is and has always been fantasy. I guess you could say I love escapism to a point where I like to flee the mundane world entirely. I also feel drawn to sci-fi roleplays but I have noticed that those usually intimidate me. I feel like I am not adept at writing about technology and all that sci-fi goodness so I mostly just pine over how awesome some OOCs look and never apply to them.
When it comes to fantasy I feel right at home. For my mind, it is much easier to grasp magical concepts and worlds than sci-fi ones. As a result of this, all the worlds I write up (be it here as a GM or elsewhere) tend to be fantastical in one way or another. I especially enjoy adventure RPs and witch RPs. I like to see new magical systems and am always eager to learn more about the worlds I RP in.
Additionally, all my characters are queer, always. Since I am queer myself and can't imagine playing straight ^^
Although the days of witch hunts are long past us, life isn't roses. While the upcoming election is threatening witches with a potential anti-witch politician claiming the title of president, unrest is stirring in the corners of the world. A rise in threats has been detected - unnatural beings, magical beasts, and other supernatural phenomena pull media attention and feed directly into an anti-witch campaign.
A D&D One-Shot. A group of adventurers is hired to find the missing grandson of a wealthy couple visiting the town. He was taken by a mysterious knight who rode his horse into the deadly woods nearby, taking the young boy with him. But the knight is not a simple man, he is said to be a resurrected ghostly figure forever in search for a squire, kidnapping young boys who never return home.

The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms – the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Lords' Alliance, and even the Zhentarim – must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city. Meanwhile, Rhana, a drow rogue with a questionable past, and Salissa, a dhampir bard with flair, find themselves somehow involved in this as they tackle different missions aimed at stopping the cult.

This is just my character archive. I have recently reorganized it. I made a whole new thread for it, moved the CS I wanted to keep for memories sake over and am now less ashamed to have people stumble upon my creations.

I always write my IC posts in gray due to finding the white color pretty straining on the eyes.
Personality: Kida is a curios personality. Hundreds of years ago, it is said she would have killed outsiders on the spot. But since then, her heart has softened, her mind has grown and her curiosity has peaked. Nowadays, Kida can extend her deep compassion she has for her own people to strangers as well, though she will always be somewhat reserved in their presence. She doesn't trust easily, especially when it comes to questions about herself or her place of origin, the sunken city Atlantis. She'd rather ask a hundred questions a minute without revealing a single word about herself. Kida can at times seems like an energetic bundle, almost child-like, while in other instances she will become calm, serious, calculated and controlled. This is a direct reflection of the youth and old age that battle within her. Following her religion, Kida strongly believes in the protection of all life. She will stray from killing if there's any other means to solve the problem. She has a deep spiritual connection to the Heart of Atlantis and her devotion to her faith and people is unshakable.
Backstory: When Kida was just a child, she witnessed the destruction of Atlantis. The fraction of the city that didn't get destroyed was protected by the Heart of Atlantis, which pulled power from Kida's mother to safe the city. Ever since that moment, Atlantis has been washed away from the surface, seemingly forgotten and forever hidden.
The Atlanteans tried for some while to find a way to the surface but it was to no avail. And so they soon got used to their isolated but protected life. It is safe to say that Kida has not been met with much disagreement, hatred or diversity in her life, given her position and Atlantis' situation. Kida grew up generally beloved but with a heavy burden put on her shoulder. The older she grew, the weaker the Heart of Atlantis was beginning to get. Though the royal family shielded their citizens from the truth, Kida knew their power was waning. She tried many years to talk to her father and change his mind, to let her venture out to find a way to restore Atlantis to it's former glory, to find help because otherwise their people would begin to die.
With the king's health deteriorating fast and his death bed approaching, Kida became desperate. In her desire to safe her father, she set out to find the Heart of Atlantis and ask for guidance. When she finally deciphered where the Heart was hidden, Kida approached the Heart, knelt and prayed for guidance. The Heart responded in kind; Kida awoke in a different land with different customs. She is determined to find out what this means and how this new place can help Atlantis and safe her father.

This took ages because I kept changing Kida from a Life Domain Cleric to a Monk and back (and also tossing Meg around as a Warlock in my head). I have now decided to begin Kida as a monk. Her healing powers that she is used to are gone, her necklace has 'died' due to her being so far away from Atlantis and the Heart. I currently plan to give her at least one or two levels as a Life Domain Cleric to gain her connection to her "deity" back though.
I shall attempt to finish my first draft of my CS tomorrow if I can. Weekend + today was just hella busy. I am definitely feeling the pressure ^_^ I am almost certain I couldn't compare to these amazing sheets. There is some incredible creativity and talent in this thread.
I'm halfway done with my CS but I won't really have time today and tomorrow as I am busy with the very delicate art of nurtering friendships xD Am going to the dice an sugar tomorrow again which is a local board game cafe where you can eat, drink and all the walls are adorned with card and board games you can pick and play. It's also highly queer and they recently made their toilets gender neutral which gives this enby person euphoria! <3
Are classes that are specified as 'extracurricular class' still considered towards the count of 4-6 classes per year? And does that mean that technically a student could choose to arrange their classes so they only do "fun" things alongside the required Gifts class. Such as picking Gifts, Art, Music, Theater. Or Gifts, Swimming, Pet Bonding, and a Club. Do clubs count towards the class total?
And are classes (other than Gifts) strictly one-year-only? For example, could a student choose to participate in Pet Bonding two years in a row, or in Portal Exploration all their school years if it interests them that much? And does being on the student council count towards the class total because it is listed under 'classes' if I am not mistaken?
I am asking because I want to determine what classes my character has taken in previous years (just as info for myself) cause it will shape the character better in my mind.

this alone sounds great, coupled with the immense work you already put into this Interest Check I am sure this will be a very incredible story to participate in.
