I imagine that eventually most characters would be in a group for RP interaction, whether its one big one and some outsiders or two or three smaller, rival groups.

Personality: Before the outbreak, Josh used to be a social butterfly. He has no trouble talking to people and will often join in, he is brave but knows how to pick his battles. He is a kind person, but this often gets him in a lot of trouble and people have been known to take advantage of that. He is a determined boy, and once he has set a goal he will fight to get there.
Bio: Josh and Katie grew up in London, England. They weren't from a particularly nice area, and didn't have the most amazing upbringing. They managed though. Katie managed to get through school and Drama college, and Josh had just started secondary school before the outbreak. A week before the outbreak started, they went on a family holiday to Amsterdam. After the first week, the infection was noticed. The next week, Amsterdam was on lockdown. Being one of the first cities too fall, they didn't have much time before everything went to shit. After a year of surviving, they had lost their parents and were on their own. They decided to try and leave the city, to try and get back to England (which at the time was still safe). After trying to get through the overrun blockades, they were separated. Just before this, they promised each other that if they somehow ended up apart, they would both stay in the city until they were reunited. 5 years later, they haven't broken this promise.
Past Occupation: He was a schoolboy when the outbreak started.
Weapons: He carries an axe and a revolver with 30 rounds left (6 round magazine)
Inventory He stores everything an a backpack he found after it all started. Along with his revolver and axe, he carries another change of clothes, socks, Two 2 litre bottles of water and 3 or 4 cans of food left. He carries a torch, with two sets of batteries, a basic first aid kit, painkillers and his old phone which he will sometimes use to listen to music on, but he makes sure not to use it too much (currently on 41%)
Other: He is a very good climber, and will often stay high above the streets even during the day. Very fast and agile.

Personality: Zoey used to be a caring, sweet girl. She is now a sadistic, murdering bitch. Loosing her brother and the apocalypse have taken toll on this girl. She is manipulative and violent. Although she doesn't actively seek out victims, if she runs into somebody and doesn't like them then she will have her way. However she will only kill and torture those who she thinks deserve it, even if it is for small and petty reasons. Stay in her good books and you should be fine.

Weapons: A hunting rifle with 19 rounds left, a machete and a flip knife.
Inventory She wears a backpack, carrying her guns and weapons, 3 small bottles of water, some cans of food, a basic first aid kit, a change of clothes and underwear. She has a lighter and a jacket along with rope.
Other: Brilliant actress, she was going to be an actress if the world didn't end.

@GingerBoi123 I like it, but you need a picture of his actual face so we know what he actually looks like (even if he doesn't take off his face ware), and the extra things I just added. Apart from that, I think its fine. After that's done, you can add it to the IC.

☠ The Edge Of Extinction ☣

Humanity is at the edge of extinction.

It has been six years since the world fell victim to the infection. It ravaged the planet like a wildfire, turning people into murderous cannibals that wanted nothing more than to kill and eat anything that moved. The infection at first took a day at the most to turn somebody. First you get tired, then a fever, then your coughing up blood. By the end of the day your killing your loved ones. But through a bite, the infection is much quicker. After being bitten you have an hour, maximum. You'll get a horrible fever almost straight away. Your insides will burn and you will quickly develop a lust for blood. The infection turned people against each other, and where the infection hadn't completely destroyed once great countries, the survivors did. Great island nations were the last to fall, Australia and Britain the last beacons of hope in a world gone mad. It has been five years since Britain collapsed, the overwhelming number of desperate migrants attempting to get in couldn't be stopped, and they brought the infection with them. Australia couldn't sustain itself after this, and the country erupted into a brutal civil war. The fighting brought about chaos, and with chaos, the infection. 4 years ago, the last stronghold in the world fell and all cure research was destroyed.

Six years on from the original infection in the year 2022, things have only gotten worse. The infected rule the night and savage raiders rule the day. Food and water is sparse and guns and ammo even more so. Electricity is a thing of the past, and so is Human decency. With things as they are, would you survive our extinction event?

Setting

Our story takes place in Amsterdam. A once great city known for its beautiful canals, amazing scenery and its red light district. Now it is known for nothing. The city was among the first to fall around the globe and most of its 800,000 residents were trapped inside. The water of the canals runs red with blood and the streets are painted the same. Weapons here are hard to find, and ammunition for them even harder. The only thing in abundance here anymore? The infected.

Information

-The infected aren't slow, shuffling zombies. They can run, climb and jump just like we can.
-They have all the senses we do. They can see, smell and hear us.
-At night all of their senses increase. They can see in the dark, sniff you out much better, and have an increased sense of smell. They are also much stronger and more aggressive at night.
-While zombies will kill and eat animals, animals can not and will not turn into zombies.
-Food and water is harder to find now, and while some plumbing systems still work, all water from taps and such is infected. Bottled water and rain water is uninfected.
-Guns and ammo are much rarer now and will be very hard to find. I don't want your character running around with an AK-47, a sniper, an RPG etc. all at the same time. Make it believable. Sure, your character can have an assault rifle, but how would he/she have got it? Is it in good condition? How much ammo do you have? Things like pistols and hunting rifles will be more common.
-Small things can kill. Illnesses that we wouldn't worry about now would be lethal unless treated, small wounds could get infected and kill you. Think about things like that.

-Gore and violence will happen.
-Sex can happen, but will have to be taken to PM's.
-Characters can and will die at some point.
-There will be no posting order, post as often as you like as long as somebody else posts in-between you. (You don't have to wait for everybody else to post before you do again)

Your characters can be whatever you want them to be, within reason. A seventy year old man or a small child would have had a very hard time surviving on their own. You can also have as many characters as you want, as long as it doesn't severely slow down your post time. Here is the template;
