Looking up at Kinger, Gangle's teary eyes watched his face, expecting him first to try to help her with her mask, maybe help her up, then expecting him to maybe have remembered to tell her something. She looks to his hand, not quiet extended to her to try to help, but she accepts it as she stands up.

"um, yes?" Was all she managed to reply in her usual snively voice.

"I think Caine wanted to do a head count, and I guess he decided our favorite pin cushion doesn't count" Jax replied to Riff, throwing his hands behind his head and leaning back.
"or you know, we've got an adventure for today. Like we do everyday"

Pomni's logic was solid indeed, and it caused Snix to pause and momentarily seethe but he relented with a heavy breath, steam exuding from his pipe as he did. Reluctantly and stiffly, he returned to the group and sat down, leaning his face into his fast as he grumbled to himself. His fist remained clenched furiously.
"If he's going to teleport us here, he should be here," He finally muttered loud enough for the others to hear, his words oozing with disdain.

That's a tough one. I just think he's definitely going to be acting much different as we see in episode 7, his mask slipped and he's a lot less enthusiastically cruel after that, y'know?

What do y'all think? Should he be his cartoonishly dubious self or lean more heavily into that melancholic doomer vibe he gives off after the gun episode

Dang, I am sorry to hear about the luck on those roleplays, dude. I won't let this one die! At least not for a long while! IRL stuff just can't be helped, though. I also use Discord for most of my other communications but prefer to keep my rp stuff separate, just so when I got to read and write, I am not distracted by my friends and whatnot. I just can never seem to get into rp on Discord anyway, most groups are massive community rps where I feel overwhelmed and the limit is rough like you said.

I'll try to get a reply out soon. I am sorry I am so slow.

My thoughts exactly. I know caine like absolutely craves everyone enjoying his missions but with a larger cast I feel like he might be more lenient on people occasionally sitting one out.

"If it's ok, can I skip this one? Me and blank were going to check out the lake"

"Caine, I NEED to sleep"

Stuff like that, where the characters aren't harping on the adventure or consistently refusing might slide more for Caine than just outright denying it, especially if everyone else is on board. Or maybe he gives them an in house adventure or other situation we just don't focus on, etc. I know Caine is actively overbearing and might not get that in canon, but for our sakes, it would make sense if we occasionally got to skip one or two adventures.
