Ive actually just okayed dragons to be played. Normally I say dragons are okayed as shifters, like my character is an elf/dragon shifter. I want to give you creative power. Doesn’t have to be fire. It can be water as well, or any element. Just make sure you balance out the weaknesses and strengths.

I’m going more into the depth of the history here soon, especially with races.
Dragons are technically considered the protectors of Valeroma. They are the ones designated to keeping us safe from harm, tyranny, war, Etc. They tend to be a little more pompous and egotistical than most.

I just realized that my description contradicted what was in the actual OOC part. So, I am changing this answer. Dragons will be one of the kindest and wisest creatures on the planet.
Chocolate and coffee are both made from beans.

I'm considering a dragon. Mostly because I've never played one. Do all dragons breathe fire in this world, or could I have, say... a water dragon?

Would you like me to reserve a CO spot for you?
@Bitterblue111 yes please! I've got a rough idea for a character but would like to see more info on the races first.

Also, what options are there for combat abilities? I tend to prefer ranger or druid like builds for fantasy settings but can certainly adapt as needed.

I've added you to the Cast list!

If you want magic, then an elf would be the best choice for you. I'm still working on it, I'm hitting a bit of writers block and I'm trying to work through it.

I'm allowing magic, with limitations. No one can have all powerful magic, and it has to have a cost. My elf-dragon shifter will be able to control plant life, and maybe be a mediocre healer when she sings. Her cost is exhaustion. If she does it too much without enough rest in between, then she could likely die in extreme circumstances. More likely, she'd just pass out for a few hours.

Hand to hand combat is also allowed. Swords, daggers, knives weapons like that, are all allowed.
As are Bows.
If you have another idea, let me know and we can discuss it. (:
Ranged weapons include bows. Bows are also allowed as well.

Again, if I don't have one that you're interested in and want to try, just let me know and we'll discuss i
I'm interested for when this gets going

A mocha is coffee with chocolate added!

What kind of races are available?

Humans, elves, dwarves, shifters, and dragons. I actually made a double post, I have the actual role play interest here

@Bitterblue111@sassy1085@IronPhinx Wow, more interest than I expected! Care to share your thoughts on a few things?

How real would you want it to feel? (For example, going into politics, law, military intervention and injuries/death)
I'm also not sure but it'd be interesting to have it fully modern. But idk

Would you want the story to focus on a group (like how HTTYD focuses on the Draong Riders) or individuals (perhaps scattered as far as world-wide).
I like the idea of starting as individuals, but being called to a central location to be a group.
How do you feel about allowing dragon species from other franchises or custom made species?
I'm perfectly okay with this.
How do you feel about allowing some individuals to speak with dragons (though magic totems or dragon telepathy).
I think this would be a cool idea.

Alright we need 5 more people 🙌🏻
Bump
I’ll be back later to answer these
