Kelly transformed without fanfare, then looked at her late-arriving partner. "Glad to see you, Discordia. Hopefully, you've spent the afternoon preparing- our reputations are on the line, after all. Not to mention I'd rather not pay for snacks if I can help it." She reached out, calmly taking a candy and examining it. A caramel. "Well, I guess we know where we're fighting, but not who yet." She idly tossed the candy to Discordia. "Don't worry, I already had some chocolate at home. Didn't know we were getting treats here." Wither started walking towards the quiet forest paths. "Come on, we can talk strategy on the way."

Rebecca sat bolt upright in her chair when the detective mentioned that they'd found the killer, but he'd been murdered. Well, for me, that's only a minor annoyance. Contrary to what those pirate movies say, dead men do tell tales- you just have to know how to make them talk. Of course, Detective Greenfield or somebody else living will have to contribute the blood if they want the spell to work at its best, but it's only a drop or two. She resolved to be the next one into the interrogation room- she could get the answers better than the cops could at this point.

Oh, joy. The police are here already. What a way to spoil our fun. Bethany started to tense up as the cop came by- sure, a lone mortal, even an armed one, wasn't much of a challenge for her, but where there was one, there were bound to be more. A fight with half the police department of a major city wasn't one they could win.

"Nothing at all going on here, Officer. Just a bunch of teenagers hanging out. Honestly, I'd think you should be more concerned about one of the tourists starting something. Alcohol and gambling make a dangerous mix, as you're probably aware working in this town."

Bethany perked up when someone mentioned the idea of a casino heist, straight out of- oh, what was that movie? "Sea's Eleven", or something? In any case, while outright theft wasn't quite the demoness' style, she was certainly intrigued. True, most of Hell would treat the cash as worthless, but a Greed demon could use money and other valuables as fuel for spells. Surely, they would be willing to trade.

"I would love to rob these fools blind alongside you, Flicker. However, turning off the power would be difficult at best. I would suggest picking pockets- slower, but safer. Can those insects of yours carry off someone's wallet without them noticing?"

Kelly wasn't the first one at the park- several of the girls were already there, though her partner Minari was nowhere to be seen. Silently, she transformed into Wither, trying to think of how best she'd fight with her new partner. From what she told me, she can't control who her voice affects- we'll need to stay apart. Damn, why didn't I think to bring earplugs?

She turned to Touka. "Well, you're the one setting the rules, Touka-chan. How are the fights going to work- no holds barred, or are we going to be restricted? Obviously, we don't want anyone getting seriously injured during the fights."

"Hmm..." Kelly started to think for a minute. She wasn't the best fighter in the group by any means, but against most of the girls, she could hold her own. Team battles would add an interesting dynamic, that was for sure. "I do agree with Chie's idea of a team match, make it something different. And as for a prize for the winners... I suggest we all put up a certain amount of money, winner take all. That way, we don't have to worry about getting someone a gift that they might not particularly like."

A thought came to her at that moment. "Might I suggest the park as a place for our tournament? Wide open space, about as fair as it gets, everybody knows where it is." She waited for any agreement or dissent on her own suggestions, but really, at this point, they were just throwing stuff at the wall to see what stuck- she really doubted the tournament would happen tonight.
