Think about his age. He was a pirate...which means he is from the original strand of vampires not the strand from the Germany thing as mentioned in your bio. Which means that the metal he's weak against isn't commonly used in weapons anymore since silver looks cooler...think original vampire lore.

Axis blinks. His own...body. He stands there for a minute letting it sink in. In his head he looks at alec. He strides over and released him but makes sure he is knocked out. Shrugging he strides through the portal. He finds his own body and stares at it. He kneels and takes a deep breath before his current body becomes enveloped it. The pink then goes to the new body. After some time alec is collapsed next to axis.
Bit more time and each one wakes up. Alec roars and charges axis who punches him in the face. Alec goes to his God form and axis seems unfazed as they fight more. It would seem axis is beating the heck out of Alec.

Vladimir doesn't even bat an eye. He simply tilts his head. "A...permanenet basis" he studies Aries. "In that case...that requires more than a monetary payment...a reason" he sits down in a chair. "One good reason besides you need protection and the clan is small for me to join you" he clasps his hands together. "Mind you I have been asked before but they never gave good reasons....hence the more temporariy body guard type jobs" he does a hand guestures. "Which I can still do even if not given a reason to be permanently apart of your group" he leans forward. "Take your time coming up with one." His grey eyes piercing into aries'. He is serious about this, all he needs is a reason. Which usually throws off the person asking, catching them off guard...expecting their money would be enough for a pirate.

He wants to make memories and he can't make happy ones if he keeps going there in his thoughts. "So...how long are you visiting here?" The main part being how long does he have to be with Manu. That is until he buys a plane ticket and flow him because sometimes he's stubborn. He doesn't mention that idea though. Maybe he could convince him to stay...or maybe they could both go to Texas. That's a nice thought....all the open space...it would be really nice.
