Cupid looked at her and blinked. A small smile grew on his face. "Darling...it almost seems like you like me" he then got serious and tilted his head. "I don't know if shutting down my powers will help...ill still be what I am. There's no changing that." he ran a hand through his hair and studied her. "It's a good idea to have it as a back up....since if I wore it I couldn't exactly help with our current problem could I dear?" he looked at the bracelet with a mix of emotions. He had come to terms with what he was a long time ago, but he was a villain then and being evil wasn't such a bad thing. Now he was trying to be good...and that was proving difficult...especially with his life on the line.

Cupid chuckled as he felt a spike in lust. It was obvious whom was feeling it...at least to him. But he wouldn't say anything. He had taken to pacing in front of the Windows. His pace and stare would remind some of a trapped animal...or an anxious one. Either way, he was not enjoying being cooped up when he could go out there and make sure they were all gone. Or hunt down some Phoenix members. Something...it was bothering him.
