Appearance: A tall, shaggy looking young man who tends to wear a neutral expression on his face. He stands at 6'0 and has messy brown hair, which he ties back to a low ponytail which just crosses past his shoulderblades, and forest green eyes. Usually seen in a beige short sleeved hoodie worn over a dark blue form fitting long-sleeved shirt. Wears black cargo pants and comfortable sneakers, as well as a matching pair of gloves to complete his ensemble. Has a muscular, yet lean build.
Personality: Taciturn and quiet. He tends to just go with the flow. It's said in his younger days that he was a bit of a bully and a hot head, but those habits were beaten out of him as he was trained to use the Keyblade. He doesn't tend to see battle as the first option in his repetoire, but when push comes to shove, he's a very talented fighter whose former hotheadedness shows once his weapon is drawn. If his allies are in danger, though, all bets are off. Due to his brashness in combat and almost complete lack of aptitude for magic, some wonder if his slipshod looking keyblade is the genuine article, or just a facsimile made to look the part.
History: Born on a far off world to a poor family, Barry ended up spending most of his younger days on the streets. He fancied himself a bit of a street tough, and quickly made a name for himself as a troublemaker. By the age of 9, he'd gathered his own gang, and was known as Iron Arms Barry due to his habit of carrying around a thick metal pipe and using it as a weapon. He was a rather slippery sorts, but one day he ended up finding an odd door.
The door pulled the young boy in, stranding him in another world with seemingly no way back. It wasn't long before Master Nixe found the problem child alone, and took him under her wing. After years of training, the young man seems to have calmed down considerably, having grown to respect the keyblade master who, in his mind, had forcibly adopted him.
He's one of the master's oldest students, and possibly one of her earliest group.
