There was a time in which humans enjoyed the privilege of dominance over Earth. Humans outnumbered most races, but were on top because unlike any other race, Humans were sentient.
Until they were wiped out.
In the Autumn of 2015, a certain Sickness began to inflict people, this virus came to be known as "WhiteFlu" due to the first sign of it being extremely pale skin. It was at first thought to be harmless because people would recover from it in a matter of days. But after those few days, It became more and more likely that someone would contract WhiteFlu, and each time this happened, the inflicted would be more susceptible to the effects, eventually leading to death. Because of this, no human being is left alive on the planet. You may be wondering how you can read this If that is the case, and I will tell you.
We Are Not Human, We Never were.
Ferrum Antiqua Is an after world roleplay in which we play as an underground race of metal beings who have made their way to the surface after this incident killed every Human being ever. There are certain things we need to go over first before I turn you loose to make your Characters.
First of all: "We Are Not Human, We Never were." can not be stressed further, we are a metal race, statistically our bodies are made up of the following:
Next: We know absolutely NOTHING about Human culture at the beginning, anything we may know about them later down the line must be discovered, so we wont know a door will say "Push" because we cant read, but once we find out this, that set of "shapes" will indicate to push the door. And so on.
