Hi and Welcome. 

1. Be nice and don't harass anyone. Or you will be booted. No questions asked. 
If you have to, talk to a Mod or Me if there's something that needs to be taken care of.
2. Don’t kill anyone’s characters. Same goes for any important NPCs. If you do, make sure that you have permission.
3. Communication is important. Be active in the OOC. Cooperation makes the world go round.
4. Posting. I wont set up a schedule, unless it becomes an issue. 
Try to post at least a few times a month and don't knowingly leave anyone behind.
5. If I haven't heard from you in a month your character will be NPC'd and your spot will become open for new applicants.

About S.H.I.E.L.D

The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, known as S.H.I.E.L.D., is a government agency specializing in military, scientific research and application and espionage with a mandate to protect the world from threats beyond the capabilities of standard national security agencies. Formed from the remnants of the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR), S.H.I.E.L.D. is made up of personnel from three divisions: Operations, Science/Technology and Communications.

Operations is the tactical and armed security division, for security over teams, projects and personnel and deployed to respond to situations that require military action. The Science and Technology division provides scientific research and medical support, expanding the scientific knowledge of the world and applying such knowledge into both conventional and defensive means. Communications focuses on data analysis and network security.

Clearance Levels:
There are 10 levels. Level one is the lowest level. 10 is the highest. You can be anywhere from 1-7. Levels 8 - 10 are not open.

Characters:

I'd like our group to be about 5-6 characters large. Which means everyone can play more than 1 character if they so desire. As of this moment I am not taking any villain characters. Only agents. However with the current canon, those agents can still be traitors to S.H.I.E.L.D. If this is something you desire, you must tell me via PM and to not tell anyone else.
At this moment I am only taking non field agent characters. Acceptable characters would be science technicians, magical support, and/or consultants. Thank you.

Please do not post your character in the character tab until I say so. It will result in general unhappiness. Once your character is accepted you need to PM me 2-3 ideas for a character arc for me to incorporate into the story. 

The Plan

This RP is set after the end of the current Avengers movie. The RP would center on a small group of agents. Much like the TV show version, our team would be centered on hunting down alien/advanced weapons and artifacts. Due to being "canon" at this point SHIELD is currently a nebulous organization lead by Phil Coulson. They no longer answer to any government. They have basically privatized. 

The story will begin with Coulson making your Special Ops Team. Some of you will have worked with each other before. Others will be new. The first mission will be a retrieval. From there each character will have their own story arc worked into the story. 

IF, and this is a huge if, this game gets off the ground and people want to see the superhero side of things, I might conciser making a spin off. Just so you all know.

My Character

But wait, you say. Who am I playing? Hopefully I'll fill my quota of people and I'll take the slew of NPCs without having to worry about playing an agent in the team. However if that doesn't happen I'll take up a team member also. 

When the RP first starts out I'll mainly be playing Coulson and Hill. Though that will change as the story progresses. 

Sadly, due to the lack of interest. I'm also picking up the Team Leader. That doesn't mean that someone can't take the position if they so desire. Just let me know. 

Opening Location

The base for our Special Operations Team will be located in the West. More accurately Seattle, Washington. However the agents will be deployed where ever they are needed. Which will more than likely be away from their base.

Information for Mission #1

The Cult of Black Magic:
(Known) How long the Cult of Black Magic has truly existed is a mystery. They are worshipers of the Witch Queen, a sorceress who practitioned black magic in ancient Egypt, and worshiped her as a goddess. She was mummified along with her young son (known only as the Spawn of the Witch Queen) with instructions on how to resurrect the boy. The Cult is currently lead by Spawn after he was resurrected. 

There is still more that is unknown, but you might be able to find out more. 

The Hotel:









The room is 812. It's a Diplomatic Suite. (See photos for reference) The woman in the suit is named Ana Naser, an Egyptian. As far as they know she's the only one from the Cult at the hotel.

The Storage Area:

It's not known which unit they've rented, only that they did so a day ago and moved the tablet pieces. (Yes, you have two pieces in the unit, or at least we think there is). Your job is to find out which unit holds the pieces, get them and get out without being noticed. There is possibly someone guarding the pieces, or more than one someones. (Feel free to make it as easy or hard as you want)

And yes, you can ask me questions if I didn't cover something.

Javotte wasn't a dog. Which was a good thing or else you would have seen her ears perk up and a tail wag. Magic. There was magic here. That was the best thing she had heard since she had gotten here. If Cinderella's Fairy Godmother could use magic to find Cinderella, or rather fail to find her, than surely a Fairy here could help her. Just as long as she didn't go to the one who was curing people. 

"He used to be cursed?" The blind woman asked innocently, trying to steer the conversation. And she didn't want to look too obvious. There was still always the chance of looking like a complete loon. Oh, I'm only asking because my sister got kidnapped from her universe yesterday and her fairy godmother sent me on what's looking like a wild goose chase through your universe. I was rather hoping I might have better luck talking to your absent fiance's godmother. Or godfather.

"I can't imagine who would do such a terrible thing." Javotte hoped she wasn't laying it on too thick. It had been quite a while since she had been in 'polite' society. Let alone deal with politics. Or gathering information without revealing why. Her sisters had always been better at covert than she. Meava would have had Belle eating out of her hands by now. Well, the Meava that didn't go crazy like their mother that was.
