@Blue2 Its kind of optimistic to make new threads for every x amount of people. The usual turnout rate is somewhere around 60-70%. Not to mention that a lot of people drop out or lag behind by week 2, save for a few rare RP cases.
If I were you, I wouldn't start rethinking the whole setup. Plus we could always just run as a fleet of ships in the same thread. Have 2-3 ships and each crew could do different things on the same mission.
I'm down with any role to be honest, I dont havr any particular characters in mind. I'm mostly here in the hopes of having a consistent group.
I was planning on making multiple threads and hope one of them would make it for the long term. But if we're all running in discord then when people drop out the remaining crews might blend into one (as if someone quit their job and a replacement is sought) to continue so that's a good idea. I'm not so big on the fleet idea, though. Most missions would be for one crew only, or it would get weird.
I only recently started using discord. Is there a limit to the amount of channels you can make for a group? Also, you can speak with people privately, right? Because sometimes someone in the group might be privvy to info the others don't know. And I'll have private questions for the captains for sure.
On a side note, isn't it thanksgiving somewhere this week for America?
