Equal parts enigmatic and magnetic. Many people know of Chloé, between her successful social media presence and the success of her parents in the fashion and entertainment/hospitality industries, she wasn't someone who often went unnoticed.
So it was only a matter of time until the "It girl" label fell into Chloé's lap. What once was a studious girl who struggled under the burden of her parent's expectations with upkeeping perfect grades, being the star at her piano recitals and landing every center position in her dance teams, blossomed in High School. Still, among the top students in academics, she switched piano recitals for street racing and dance team competitions for "who can throw the best back to school summer party" competitions. For every story she posted at the "track" or a rager there was another of her riding the waves in Hawaii or on the back of an elephant in Bali.
Despite very publicly showing off her life, Chloé had perfected the art of keeping most people at a friendly distance. Conversations with her tended to focus on the other person, most people had never met or seen her parents outside their appearance in magazines and on tv, and many people that would claim to be Chloé's friend couldn't tell you anything about her that her loyal followers didn't already know. This part of Chloé, the part of not knowing her despite all the parties, the day trips to vegas, the late-night walks along the beach, was the part that seemed to intrigue people the most, because really 'who was she?'
Then there was the group of gearheads and misfits, a jumble of personalities that somehow seemed to work out well together, always in the background of her wildest party videos, bumming it out in her lazy travel days and sharing laughs with her over in-n-out burgers. These were her friends, actually, no, they were her family. With them, she was aggressively protective(no stranger to getting into conflicts to defend them), boisterous, perhaps a little too generous and, annoyingly stubborn (not everyone can be perfect).

Chloé has always had a rocky relationship with her parents, who have showered her in money and materials in place of actual love, and watched them increasingly treat each other as icy strangers. Upon reflecting she's come to realize how she approaches relationships and people in general because of this and is trying to be more open to deeper friendships and love, but everything take time.. and hopefully she figures it out before it's too late.

- English is her third language, and more times than not has forgotten English names for various objects and places. Which leads to a fun game of charades and describing things or hoping whoever she’s talking to knows some French or Chinese.

- Hiking - yes, she has gotten lost before.
- Muy Thai/Kickboxing - since ending her dance "career" she picked up another sport to stay in shape.
- Esthetics - no licensed yet but she hooks everyone up with skin care regimes.
- Fashion - Her father is a fashion designer and her mom a model, so fashion is in her blood.
- Baking - It's really calming and getting to eat the delicious treats is even better.

Her biggest dream is success, though she hasn’t quite nailed down how she’ll go about attaining it. Fashion, modeling, taking the reigns of her father’s conglomerate, her opportunities were there but her heart was in another place. Chloé’s heart yearns for a future abundant with happiness, and sharing that happiness with another person and maybe even a family.

On the surface level Chloé has alluded to being afraid of spiders and experiencing anxiety while flying. Among her friends she’s drunkenly complained about never being successful or turning out like her ‘shitty’ parents. Though deep down Chloé fears being abandoned the most, she’s afraid of losing her friends, falling in love and then losing her lover and even afraid of really losing her parents.

When international supermodel Lían Zhang traveled to France for Paris Fashion Week she hadn’t expected to fall in love with a devilishly handsome french businessman. The tabloids say it was love at first site and maybe it was, but a romance created in a passionate moments of a one night stand would sizzle out over the years.
The couple traveled the world together between their commitments to their work. They got married in Venice, announced their pregnancy in Morocco and brought their beautiful baby girl into the world in Singapore. Though they hadn’t accounted for the pause on their life having a child would bring.
They relocated to Paris, a hub of fashion and the headquarters of Raphael’s rapidly growing business. Chloé attended the best private school Paris had to offer, though her attendance was less than stellar. Chloé spent the majority of her school time in Paris and her breaks and summers in Singapore. Never thinking much of her parents time spent apart.
It wasn’t until Middle School did she come to a place she had yet to visit. With business opportunities for hotels and casinos ripe in the United States the “family” packed up their life and nestled in the heart of the rich and the famous on the west coast. For comfort Lìan Zhang had talked her mother into moving with them, to live comfortably in their large house and watching her only grandchild grow into a beautiful woman.
Chloé saw her grandmother more than her parents as she got older. Their icy distance between each other had them spending time in other states and countries flying home on whims only for the seldom holiday and to celebrate her birthdays, though once she got into high school assistants and mail carriers brought her cards and gifts in place of her parents. Though Chloé didn’t worry over it too much as long as her Nai Nai was around.
