Liam called on Grimm.
"Grimm! Start off with Shadow ball!" Liam called. The tiny ghost formed the ball of black energy and threw it at Mew, who took it directly. Mew then used Dark Pulse. Grimm took a direct hit.
"Disable!" Liam ordered. Mew's Dark Pulse was blocked from being used. Mew used Dazzling Gleam.
Grimm was ordered to use Shadow Sneak next. Mew turned and used Me First and made a stronger Shadow Sneak that hit for super effective damage. Grimm then did his Shadow Sneak.
"Astonish!" Liam called.
Mew attempted to use Nasty Plot, but flinched.
Both Pokemon used Shadow Ball. When the dust cleared, both Pokemon were looking tired. Grimm started to glow white.
"Grimm is evolving." Liam said with a smile. However, the evolution stopped and he was still a Duskull.
"Dus dus kull." Grim said.
"You want to fight Mew as a Duskull?" Liam asked. Grimm nodded.
"Now Shadow Sneak!" Liam called. Mew used Metronome, which turned into Hyper Beam, which phased right though Grimm. Mew used Psychic and took the Master Ball from Liam and pulled it over. Mew tapped the button to go in. The ball fell to the cave ground with a soft thunk and snapped shut. Liam walked over and picked up the Master Ball. "Welcome to the team Mew." Liam said. He praised Grimm for the good job. He then turned to Shiranui: "Onto the Indigo Plateau, do you want to just wrap there with Sherlock or just wrap to Viridian City?

I thought you would catch Mewtwo.
Mew was floating around Liam. He stopped and used Psychic to unzip his bag. He psychically pulled the Master Ball out and set it in Liam's hand. "Do you want to come with me?" Liam asked. mew shook in confirmation. and then flew back to take a battle position.
Mewtwo had continued its barrage on Mew. He eventually grabbed Mew's tail and began to swing Mew around. Seeing his opportunity, Liam ran forward as Mewtwo released Mew sending it flying. Liam ran and jumped to catch Mew and cushion the fall.
"Fool, don't interfere!" Mewtwo exclaimed. Liam chuckled as he got up. "You don't get do you Mewtwo?" He asked. "Just because some humans you meet were evil and abusive, doesn't mean that all humans are that way. You are trying to act as some avenger, a bringer of justice, But Mew here has done nothing but try to show you the other side. If one Poochyena had gone on a rampage and beat up some Pidgey, would you demonize all Poochyena for the one's actions?" Mewtwo stopped. He did not want to admit it, but deep down he knew Liam was right. He began to glow with psychic energy. "I must go." Mewtwo said. "If humans truly are, good more often then evil, then I must see this for myself." he began to float toward the cave entrance.

Just because the first humans you dealt with were crooked does not mean they all are."
"You are a fool." Mewtwo said. He flung a Shadow Ball at Mew. Mew was knocked back. Mewtwo used Psychic to pick Liam up by the collar, which choked him slightly. "I may have been surprised by your faux-noble actions in the gym by cushioning your Pokemon's fall, so you could make it fight longer. You are a disgusting piece of trash." Mewtwo dropped Liam. He turned to Shiranui. "You, were able to beat me, I must confess that I am impressed. You are the first to do so, and I will ensure you will be the last."

The two ventured into the cave. Liam noticed that many Pokemon were crowing or fleeing away from the center of the cave, leaving them alone. When they reached the center of the cave, they saw the Pokemon from the gym fighting a small pink Pokemon.
"Wait, it can't be." Liam thought as he grabbed the Pokedex.

A Chansey came by and handed Liam a tray with his Pokeballs. After Liam put them up he had a vision in his head He saw the Pokemon in a cave. and a voice say "Cerulean Cave" He quickly called Sherlock out. "Teleport us to Cerulean Cave's entrance please." Sherlock did as requested and was returned. "I think he is in here, lets go."
"But, there's no telling where it went now." Liam said. "For all we know, that Pokemon could of flown off to Orre."
Liam checked in his pokemon in as well. Liam was concerned for Titiania's sake, but he was also intrigued at how that Pokemon stopped, almost as if in shock at how he dove to try and catch Snorunt and Grimm. It was as if that Pokemon had never seen compassion before.
Giovanni returned. He called out Golem. Liam started with Hydro. A critical Hydro Pump KO'd it. Rhyperior was next who got a couple Thunderbolts out before being KO'd. The Mystery Pokemon was next. Giovanni told Liam to use multiple Pokemon. Hydro was exhausted from the other two rounds, but Torrent had not quite activated yet. Liam called out Snorunt.The Mystery Pokemon fired Shadow Ball and made Hydro's Torrent activate.
"Hydro, Hydro Cannon! Snorunt! Ice Beam!" Liam called. The Powered up Water move was frozen into a spear of ice and it hurled at the armor clad Pokemon. It simply raised its hand and the Huge spear of ice stopped instantly, an inch away from its hand. It clinched its hand and the spear smashed into a fine powder, which spread all over the stadium floor.
"Snorunt, use Ice Beam!" The tiny ice Pokemon made another ice attack which hit directly, but seemed to do nothing. The Pokemon used Psychic and KO'd Hydro. Liam swapped him out for Arcanine.
"Snorunt, Ice Beam! Arcanine! Flamethrower!" Liam called His plan was to freeze the armor then heat it up and hope it cracks due to sudden temperature change. A plausible theory. Liam ordered them to keep it up. When the smoke cleared, a few pieces of the armor had small cracks in it. The Pokemon used Psychic and KO'd Arcanine. Liam swapped him out for Grimm. Grimm started using Shadow Ball, while Snorunt kept up with ice attacks, hoping to get ice to form in the cracks. A Psychic attack sent Snorunt flying. Liam ran to try and catch the small Pokemon. In catching the pokemon, Liam was knock back a little bit. The Pokemon froze in its tracks briefly ,as if in shock at the gesture.
"Grimm! Fire Will O' Wisp into the frosted cracks in the armor!" Liam called as he put Snorunt back in its Pokeball and sent Chansey out. The fire attack landed in the cracks. While the armor still was solid enough to protect the Pokemon's skin, it made the cracks grow.
"You little runt! do you have any idea how much that armor cost?"
"Double Shadow Ball!" Liam called. Both Pokemon domed a ball of black energy and fired them at the crack. The Pokemon used Shadow Ball and hit Grimm, sending him flying. Again Liam ran to catch him. The Pokemon stood there seemingly dumbfounded at the events it was seeing.
"Don't just stand there! Finish him off NOW!" Giovanni roared. The Pokemon stopped and turned to Giovanni as he raised his hand. Giovanni was lifted by psychic energy. he chocked out: "How dare you! I am your master!"
This pokemon bellowed out in the minds of everyone here. "You say I was created to serve humans? This cannot be, my destiny." He threw Giovanni to the side, an Earth Badge fell out of his pocket. The Pokemon shot straight up though the roof, chunks of the armor falling as it went. Liam went over to Giovanni. "Well, lets see: I beat two of your Pokemon, you beat two of mine, your last Pokemon fled the battle, guess that means this Earth Badge is mine." Liam reached over and picked it up Giovanni snapped his fingers before becoming unconscious. A small group of Rockets came out and blocked the exit while others carried Giovanni away. The Rockets who stayed were going to keep the heroes inside while the gym collapsed from the mystery pokemon going through the roof. Sherlock came out and teleported the Rockets away right in front of Offcr Jenny and our heroes to the Pokemon Center.
