The trio arrived at the day care center.
"Well, I think I'll come as well." Liam added.
"Congratulations son," Mr. Tsukiko said, "I hereby make you my successor and I also bestow upon you two gifts. The first is a Soothe Bell to help you bond with your Pokémon and the second will be given to you at the Daycare Centre in Kalos."
"Thanks father," replied Shiranui, knowing a Soothe Bell was just what he needed for Tachi.

Liam remembered something that Mr. Tsukiko had told Shiranui back in Ecurteak City about the day care in this region. "Shiranui, do you know where the day care center is in this region?"
"So, it is The Battle Maison." Liam replied. "I think it would be fun to do some battles there."
"Nice catch." Liam noted. A girl on roller blades camber and screeched to a halt. She politely said excuse me. Liam stepped aside and the girl went on though. Liam saw she was followed by a Lucario.
"Good job catching Snorlax, and congratulations on evolving Fuma." Liam replied as he put the Pokeflute back in his bag. He saw a big building nearby. He wondered if that was the Battle Maison that he had heard so much about.
"Before we continue," Liam said. "I have a special kind of Pokeball to show you. He held up a grey ball with a set of two small blue orbs and a bigger set of two further back. "This is a Heavy Ball. It is a special kind of ball made by a man named Kurt who lives in Johto. The Heavy Ball works better on heavier Pokemon, such as Snorlax. I will wake Snorlax with the Pokeflute so you can fight it. Use this to catch it." Liam said as he tossed the newbie trainer the specialty ball.
"I guess Ryan can have it if he wants." Liam said. "It is a good thing I still have the Pokeflute that Mr. Fuji gave us."
