"Haven't seen too many Skiddo." Liam stated as he pulled out his Pokedex.
"Skiddo, the Mount Pokemon. It is thought to be one of the first Pokémon to live in harmony with humans. It has a placid disposition. When a Skiddo has sunshine and water, it doesn't need to eat, because it can generate energy from the leaves on its back."
"That's awesome." Liam noted. He wanted to just stay there for a bit and watch these adorable Pokemon.

"Well, lets go check it out then." Liam said. Soon after, the ranch began to come into view.
When Shiranui pointed out the ranch on the map, Liam was immediately imagined a heard Tauros running around while some Miltank slept nearby. A flock of Marrep grazed in the distance. "Should we check out this ranch?" Liam inquired.
The heroes entered Route 12. Liam was looking at a map. "It looks like it is a straight shot to the next city."
Liam's Pokemon were returned to him healed. He then called Prof Oak and altered his team. He returned to his friend, ready to move on.
"Well, let's go back to the Pokemon Center and head out to Coumarine City." Liam said.
"Very well." Liam said. He took his position. The Ref said that each trainer would use three Pokemon, and only the challenger can substitute Pokemon. Korrina started off with Machoke. Liam sent out Scarlet the Braixen.

"Scarlet, Psyshock!" Liam called. The odd wave issued forth and hit the Pokemon.
"Machoke, Low Sweep!" Korrina commanded. The Superpower Pokemon tried to trip Scarlet, dropping her speed.
"Attract!" Liam called. Scarlet pulled her twig-like wand and coyly put the tip in her mouth and winked with an adorable "Brai". Machoke fell head over heels.
While Machoke had his tongue aging out his mouth, Scarlet used her new move, Psychic. Machoke was slammed into a wall and knocked out. Korrina called out Meinfoo.

"Mienfoo, the Martial Arts Pokemon. It takes pride in the speed at which it can use moves. What it loses in power, it makes up for in quantity. In fights, they dominate with onslaughts of flowing, continuous attacks. With their sharp claws, they cut enemies."
Scarlet wanted to continue. "Use Psybeam!" Liam called.
'Detect!" Korrina called. Meinfoo predicted the attack and where it would land and avoided it.
"Will O' Wisp!" Liam called. Scarlet ws able to burn the opposing Pokemon.
"Rock Tomb!" Korrina commanded. The giant rocks crashed down and lowered Scarlet's speed. Scarlet began to glow with a red aura, which Liam recognized as the sign that Blaze activated.
"Flamethrower!" Liam called.
"Detect!" Korrina called. Meinfoo evaded the attack. It took another hit from the burn and KO'd Scarlet with High Jump Kick. Liam recalled Scarlet and sent out Gallade. The Blade Pokemon emerged with the Megastone bejeweled in a belt. "Double Team!" Liam called. Gallede made many duplicates of himself. Mien's High Jump Kick missed, causing it to crash and hurt itself. From there, the burn finished it. Korrina sent out her final Pokemon, Lucario

Liam and Korrina smirked as in unison they activated Mega Evolution. The stadium was enveloped in blinding light. When the light faded both Pokemon were Mega evolved. A big drawn out battle continued. Most of the battle was continued use of Double Team and Swords Dance by Gallade, Lucario only got a few hits in, and most of those were by the never missing Aura Sphere.
Korrina ordered one final Aura Sphere and Liam rebutted with Stored Power. The collision of the attacks resulted in a huge explosion, leaving both Pokemon unconscious. Since Liam still had one Pokemon in reserve, he won the Rumble Badge.
