Liam began looking at the Ralts. It looked like a Pokémon, he hypothesized a Mightyena wad drove its fangs deep into the small Pokémon. Liam used a paste made from Orren Berries and applied it to the wounds and bandaged it back up. "I'm going to take you to a Pokémon Center, you will get much better healing there then I can give you."

Liam found an injured Ralts. He cautiously approached it. "Hey there Ralts." he said. "You can read my mind and see that I mean you no harm. If you will allow me to see your wounds, I may be able to help you."
Liam found a Pidgey perched on a low branch. Liam had Poochyena battle it, resulting in a quick and easy capture.
Liam took some time to train Mudkup and Poochyena.
"Just be warned, they can be rare." Liam advised.
"Supposedly on this very route." Liam stated.
"Yeah, I don't have Gardevoir." Liam said thinking aloud.
"That is interesting." Liam commented. "It might be a nice Pokémon for Lance to try and add to his team."
The party left Oldale Town due west. It would be a short trip to the next city. Liam was excited to get to the contest and try his hand at it.
"Well, are we ready to move on to the next town?" Liam asked.
