"Do you need to get anything before we head off to Lillycove?" Liam asked.

"Chimecho." Liam replied. As he looked around for the Pokémon, he found a scrap of purple cloth. While inspecting it, one of the balls on his belt popped open and Grimm the Dusclops popped out. He grabbed the cloth from his trainer and celebrated. Grimm than became enveloped in white light and evolved into Dusknoir.

"Dusknoir, the Gripper Pokémon, and the fully evolved form of Duskull. The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there. It is said to take lost spirits into its pliant body and guide them home."
While Liam was distracted by the evolution, A Chimecho that he had almost spotted floated away. Liam, having not known it was there walked back to Shiranui after recalling Grimm. He told him he didn't find Chimecho, but the need to move on to make it to the contest.

Well,there is one I'd like to try and find." Liam stated.

"Well, we could always call Officer Jenny and have her take them." Liam stated.

Archie instructed his men not to listen to Shiranui. He ordered a charge, as did Maxie. This was to distract the heroes so that they could get away with the orbs. While the heroes may have still been aware of what they were doing, they were unable to get to them to stop them. They grabbed the orbs and both used jet packs to quickly get back to their copters. They called a retreat order as the Grunts began to charge back to the copters. Liam had Hitmonchan out, who was helping in keeping Grunts at bay. He managed to knock out a single Grunt from each side that got left behind in the confusion.

"Sherlock! Time to teleport!" Liam called as he tossed the shiny Alakazam's ball into the air. The three vanished and appeared at the summit. At this point, both teams saw the heroes and each other.

Mt Pyre was soon in view. Liam saw two familiar helicopters going toward the summit from different directions. One was red, and the other was blue. Liam cursed under his breath and called them out to his traveling companion.

"Those places usually have a fair amount of ghost types." Liam noted.

Liam noted that they were coming up on Mt. Pyre, which served the same basic function as the tower in Lavender Town.

"Well, let's move on to the next city." Liam said.
