They walked into the Pokémon Center and Liam's mother took his six Pokémon for healing. Liam figured they had two weeks to use as a vacation before needing to head to do Kanto's Battle Frontier. Then they could board a ferry to Pallet Town.
"Ready." Liam replied. Liam grabbed Shiranui with one hand and placed the other on his father's Alakazam. Liam's parents also placed hands on Alakazam.
"Best Wishes!" Looker called to them as the vanished via Alakazam's teleport.

"Well, we can go now if you're ready. Mr. Coleman said.
"Well, the Orange Islands have some beautiful beaches, as does the Seafoam Islands, and Alola." Joy said.
'Or you could vacation in Blackthorn City." Mr. Coleman suggested.

"Well, where were you thinking of gong?" Liam's mom asked.
"Yup." Liam replied. Liam's mother asked where they were going next. Liam told her they were going to take on Kanto's Battle Frontier. Mr. Coleman than asked Shiranui what his plans were until time to go to Kanto for it.
"Thanks." Liam said. Steven came up and asked Liam to follow him. Liam walked up to a computer that registers the teams of the champions. Liam placed his Pokémon and Pokédex in the machine and everything was registered. The two came back out to the staidum. Liam was presented with a trophy, bigger than the one who got for the tournament. This trophy was platinum.
All of the moves met center stage with a huge kaboom. Jessie and Cassidy were yanking on each other's hair screaming, while James and Butch had each other by the collar, each of them blaming the other and their team for this being foiled.
"Looks like Team Rocket's Blasting off again!" the four Rockets and Meowth cried as they soared off into the distince.
"Wobbafett!" The Patient Pokémon cried after Rockets. There was a huge crater in the arena floor. Goodra and Metagross game and stood next to their trainers as the arena was switched out. The two went back out. The offical ruled that due to the interference, each Pokémon would be allowed a Super Potion to off set the attack. He handed one to each of the trainers who used them on their Pokémon.
"Now, Battle, resume!" The official called.
"Iron Head!" Steven called.
"Dragon Pulse!" Liam replied. Metagross charged right into the move.
"Psychic!" Metagross called.
"Flamethrower!" The jet of fire was turned back on Goodra. Goodra evaded the blast.
"Dragon Pulse!" The attack hit Metagross, who retaliated with Meteor Mash. Both Pokémon were tired.
"Draco Meteor!" Liam called.
"Protect!" Steven replied. The green shield absorbed the raining meteors. While it was unlikely to pull it off again, Liam called for another Draco Meteor. This time it hit and KO'd Metagross.
"Metagross is unable to battle, the victor and new Hoenn Champion is 'Dragon Master' Liam Coleman from Blackthorn City, Johto!" The official called. Liam's image was on the jumbotron with "Hoenn Leauge Champion" Below it in gold letters. Confetti rained down on the stage as Goodra hugged Liam. The crowd's cheering was almost deafening.

"We still have this." Meowth said with a grin as he held up the keystone. Butch tackled him to try and get it. "Carnivine! Bullet Seed! Inkay Psybeam on Biff!" James called.
"Muy name is 'Butch!'" Butch protested. The attacks hit him, He ordered Charizard to use Flamethrower on James and Hitmontop to use Rolling Kick on Meowth. The Mega Stone went flying and hit Jessie in the forehead. It bounced off and landed in Cassidy's hand. She began to taunt Jessie, who than lunged at Cassidy. It got to a point where the Rockets themselves were fighing more firecely than their Pokémon were.
"Enough is enough!" Liam bellowed. Mr. Coleman handed his Alakzam a pebble. "Now Trick!" He called pointing at James ,who currently had the keystone. The items switched positions and James freaked.
"Goodra! Dragon Pulse!" Liam called.
Liam's mother called out a Wigglytuff during the brawl to try and help. She ordered Wigglytuff and Florence to both use Focus Blast, Mr. Coleman ordered his Alakazam to do the same.
"Metagross, Hyper Beam!" Steven ordered.
