Liam praised Dragonite for the effort and recalled him. After the contest ended, Liam returned to the Pokémon Center to have Grimm and Dragonite healed up.
Time was called during the squabble. Liam had fewer points, and Shiranui was named the winner.
Liam lost more points the timer had whiddled down to :45 "Sky drop into Brutal Swing!" Dragonite attempted to carry the Mimikyu high up while it was wrapped up in his tail, and to than thrust it downward.
Liam was shocked when he saw the Dragon Rush do nothing to the Mimikyu, and Liam's points took a sharp drop between that blunder and Shiranui's counter. "Grab it with Iron Tail!" Dragonite attempted to improvise a wrap attack with Iron Tail so that it would work, and be Supper Effective no less.
"Good counter." Liam said. "But, now I can get serious. Dragon Rush!" Dragonite began to zip around the stage to build momentum before slamming into Mimikyu.
Liam did know about the Disguise, and told Dragonite to use Thunder Punch in an attempt to break it so he can get serious.
