So I just had a thought while I'm at work, would any pokedex know who or what Type Null/ Silvally is? Since it's a man made Pokemon like Mewtwo, would the few even have data on it?
No, they wouldn't. Just like they don't have Mewtwo.

Gladion Weird Pokemon (Silvally) would still be a Type Null at this point, I don't think it will evole until the 3rd island.

After the battle, Liam was having Goodra healed at the Pokémon Center. M.R. had disappeared in the chaos. Liam overheard a young trainer telling Nurse Joy how his Gumshoos was defeated by "some blonde kid with a strange Pokémon". He went on to try and describe the Pokémon to Joy, but he was so frazzled that all he could tell her was it was on four legs and had white fur.
Incineroar was KO'd, and Chuck was named the winner. Liam praised Goodra on the good battle and congratulated Chuck and Sludge on the victory.

"Goodra, Dragon Pulse!" Liam called pointing toward Incineroar." Goodra's attack was launched, but only managed to hit the fire attack, preventing it from hitting Sludge, and leaving Chuck an opening to win.

The Blizzard hit Incineroar and Goodra, while Goodra's Devastating Drake hit its target. A huge explosion covered the battleground. When the dust cleared, Incineroar was down on one knee. He had taken both hits, and Blaze activated. But in the commotion, Liam did not know if Chuck's Pokémon was hit.
The Dragon Pulse and Ice negated one another. Goodra was distracted by the evolution, and Incineroar used that opportunity to use Outrage on Goodra, throwing both him and Liam for a loop.
Liam bounced back and began a Z-move. "Devastating Drake on Icineroar!" The dragon-shaped lavender beam rocketed across the field toward the Fire/Dark type.
