Jessie and James did not recognize the name "Archer". Wobbafett popped out of his ball and agreed with them on not having heard of him. James commented that he might be so high up in Team Rocket that only the executives get to know about him. It felt as though it was a plausable enough reason.
Unknown to Team Rocket, while this discussion was going on, a figure had quickly moved from the door to a nearby couch, and was reading a newspaper. Liam had the feeling that the figure was watching them, and thought it might be someone working for Veronica's father trying to spy on them. Liam was ready to force the battle outside if needed.
The light above the OR door turned off, and Joy wheeled a gurnie out that Mareanie was on, while Meowth walked beside Joy.
"Good news. Meowth and Mareanie are prefectly fine." Joy said with a smile.
"Thank you!" Jessie and James called out. Mareanie leapt up and latched onto James' head while Wobbafett, while crying tears of joy hugged Meowth.
The figure with the paper moved, proving to be a Bewear. It swiftly grabbed the villians and dashed out of the Center, barely giving the automatic doors enough time to open.

The Rockets saw Shiranui watching them. Jessie walked over. "Alright ninja-boy, clearly you know who we are, you may be a twerp, but you're a smart twerp." She then went on to explain how this isn't some ploy, and we are trying to help Meowth and Mareanie. James pitched in that he was surprised that Beware didn't rush in and carry them off afterward.
Liam was thinking to himself about how curious he was about what Mimikyu looked like under the disguise but knew better than to peek, based off of what the Pokédex had said about Mimikyu. The Pokécenter's door opened and what was what would be obvious to the player characters to be Jessie and James came running in carrying Meowth and Mareanie, both of which appeared to have taken a beating. They were telling Joy that they were relaxing at the beach, near the shore when a school of Sharpedo came out of the water and attacked them, using Hyper Beam and a couple used Hydro Pump. The force of the attacks knocked them into a short-tempered Alolan Raichu, who shocked them. They than in unison begged her to help them, complete with waterworks tears.
Smaug ate his and enjoyed it. The flame on the tip of his tail doubled in size.
"Not a bad name," Liam commented.
