Pokémon Alola

The heroes finally reached their destination. "So, these are the Ruins of Life huh?" Liam asked impressed at what he was seeing. Kahuna Olivia came out from around a corner. "Alola everyone!" She said. "I take it that you guys are here for a Grand Trial?" Liam told her they were. She also said that it would be double battles, where either side loses once they lose a single Pokémon. She also mentioned that since most of them are regional champions, or have at least placed high in tournaments they are all very skilled with Pokémon and offered to take two on at a time.
"I wouldn't mind," Liam said.

With that said, the heroes set out toward the Grand Trial.

"Shall we head out for the Grand Trial?" Liam inquired.

"Like old times, huh Hydro?" Liam asked as his Blastoise fist bumped Zenni.
"Blas!" Hydro replied. Hydro got down closer to Jen so she could pet him.

Liam chuckled at the coincidence. He had also had brought in his own Blastoise, Hydro to use just in case. He let Hydro out who was happy to see Zenni.

Liam only had one Pokémon on him that had an advantage in this trial. He was wondering if he should bring someone in or not. But, he did not really catch any water types from Alola, which meant calling an an older one if he went for it.

Once back at the Pokémon Center, Liam handed over Smaug for healing and admired the Grassnium Z's shine while he waited.

"Well, let's head on out," Liam said.

Pokémon Alola

"Sounds like a good time for Oliver to get in some battling," Liam said. He then switched to a quieter tone. "But remember, the other thing we need to do after the Kahuna battle."

"I can't wait!" Liam said.
