Lusamine talked about how the Ultra Beasts are Pokémon or Pokémon-like creatures that come from another world through what she was calling Ultra Wormholes. Being such rare creatures, they could be sought after by poachers, but they also could be helpful in learning about this other world. Its geography, its climate, and so on. No scientist worth their salt would let such research simply pass them by. "So, I have found a way to detect the presence of Ultra Beasts and would like it if you guys could go and either capture as many of them as possible to help with the research. I even have had special Pokéballs made to help with this" She holds out the special kind of ball," Lusamine held up a ball that was patterned with the square grid of old polygon based video games but of a bright blue instead of the green. Four yellow talon-like markings went from the back of the ball to the center button. "This is a Beast Ball. "These are specially made for the Ultra Beasts and when used on them are only beaten by the Master Ball in how effective they are." She had Wicke give them a box full of them to use. "We of course only ask to get to study any Ultra Beasts you may manage to capture."
Lillie was annoyed at her mother, once again she began to get caught up in her work and was ignoring her. "I can't believe that I thought you would change mother!" Lillie called out. "You are always so busy with your work that you don't have time for anything other than treating me like a child!" Lillie stormed off in a huff, leaving Liam thinking that Lillie is acting like a child at the moment, but knowing better than saying something.

Lusamine had a computer on standby with many USB cords plugged in, as well as few adaptions for the more advanced Rotomdex to get the update. Liam's Pokédex was plugged into one of the slots for the update.

Lusamine told them that they are real and that many Ultra Beasts have been breaking into their world. As they are mostly unknown, your pokedexes will have absolutely no information on them. While we do not have much on them, I can update your Pokedexes to have what information we do have on them."

"Oh, that's great!" Lusamine said. "Now, by chance have any of you ever heard of 'Ultra Beasts'?"
"I haven't," Liam said.

"Vul!" Snowy chirped in, wagging her tails.
Lusamine introduced herself and thanked them for coming, telling them that she asked for them to come because she needs the help and she figures that some Champions would be of great help in that.

"Miss Lusamine is behind this door." Wicke announced as she went to open the door, there was a familiar voice screaming "Mother!" Wicke opened the door to see a woman that Liam assumed to be Lusamine hugging Lillie from the Trainer's School, who was carrying her Alolan Vulpix, Snowy in her arms.

Just to confirm something, Wicke is Veronica mother so I'm curious to see her reaction to Veronica. Though no one would know that apart from Veronica father.
