Pokémon Alola

Hapu congratulated the heroes on completing the last Grand Trial. She told them that there was a region-wide tournament to be held in a few weeks but it had been postponed due to Lusamine of the Aether Foundation being under the weather. The way Hapu said it, Liam was unsure of she had been misinformed on the Lusamine situation or if she was trying to not let people know about it since it might cause a panic. She mentioned that Mele City had a tourist attraction known as the "Kantonian Gym". It was a building modeled after the Kanto gyms and it had its own badge, though no league would recognize it as one.
Liam thanked her for the info and said they might have to check it out before they leave Alola. He knew full well that they had other tasks that needed to take priority to it however it was still intrigued by it.
Liam heard a huge crash and a roar off in the distance that Hapu commented came from the direction of the Dragon Trial site. Liam called out in his mind for Sherlock and had him there. Upon arrival, Liam saw that the totem Hakmo-o was in an energy cube with a pack of Jangmo-o and a few Hakamo-o in another.
"Well, lookie what we have here, it's the pest," Said a familiar voice as Billie and Kidd came around the corner.
Billie and Kidd called out and an Aagron and Charizard came from around the corner.
"You like the new muscle pest?" Billie asked. "We got them special from the boss for our hard work, he even threw in a nice little bonus, courtesy of Matori doing some digging around in Hoenn on an errand. It was then at that point that Liam realized that the Charizard and Aagron also had the proper Mega stones. They Mega evolved their Pokémon in unison, causing a Mega Aagron and Mega Charizard X to stand before Liam.
"All we have to do is hold you punks off for five minutes and our ride will be here. Lord Giovanni will be tickled pink to have a Totem Pokémon at his command."
"That's not going to happen," Liam warned them. He tossed a pair of Luxury Balls into the air when they opened, Kommo-o and Smaug emerged. Liam Mega Evovled Smaug into Mega Charizard Y, causing bright sunlight to fill the cave, temporarily blinding everyone barring Liam since he just came from there.
"Smaug, Blast Burn the Aagron, Kommo-o use Earthquake!" The pair of attacks fired off and hit the opposing mons. Mega Aagron was hurting, even though both attacks were cushioned by its ability.
"Outrage!" Billie ordered.
"Dragon Claw on Kommo-o," Kidd ordered. Both attacks flew at Liam's dragon who Saved his hide with Protect, also positioning himself for another move while Smaug had to recharge this round

Smaug was unable to move and Liam told Kommo-o to use Dragon Claw on Mega Charizard X the attack connected and dealt good damage, but allowed the Charizard to do the same back. Aagron tried to use Avalanche on Smaug and hit.

"Blast Burn on Aagron!" Liam ordered.
"Use Smack Down on that orange Charizard!" Kidd commanded Smaug got knocked down to the ground right after launching the attack.
"Now, Earthquake!" Billie ordered. In this combo move the were able to do heavy damage to Smaug while Mega Aagron's was lessened by his ability. Smaug was worse for wear from the combo.

Smaug was unable to move while he recharged and could not get airborne. Billie and Kidd both ordered an Earthquake, harming each other in the process, but KO'ing Smaug and throwing a capture cube at him before Liam could recall him, laughing menacingly. Liam told Kommo-o to use Ice Punch and pointed at the target. Kommo-o lunged toward Mega Charizard X with the frigid punch, but the Charizard side stepped it.
"Ha! you missed moron," Billie taunted.
"Whoever said Charizard was the target?" Liam aksed. The Rockets turned to see Kommo-o smack the capture cube that held the totem Pokémon, causing it to crack and break open. The totem Pokémon roared in anger as Billie and Kidd let out a small whimper. The totem reached between his scales and tossed a small object toward Liam It looked a bit like a Z-Crystal but different. It also had the shape of a Kommo-o on it as its symbol. Liam ejected the Dragnium Z from his Z-Ring to put the new one in, only to find it wouldn't fit. The Rockets tried to take advantage of Liam being distracted by having their Pokémon launch attacks at him as opposed to any of the Pokemon in the area. The totem stepped in front of Liam and used Protect. Both the totem and Liam's Kommo-o together fired off Draco Meteor, blasting the Rockets and their Pokémon out of the cave. Once they were pushed so far away from the cave the capture cubes deactivated and let the hostage pokémon go. Liam recalled Smaug and thanked the Totem for the gift. Just then an army of RocketGrunts charged into the cave, they quickly began to worry when they saw all of the Pokémon were out of their capture cubes and that there was someone who one of the Grunts ID'd as the Johto Champion standing there.
Some of the Grunts still decided to fight, sending out a swarm of Zubat, sprinkled with a few Golbat, and a single Crobat, which the fact that a Rocket had a Crobat would have amazed Liam if this wasn't a dire moment. They all tried to fire off Supersonic But it was overpowered by the Totem's Clanging Scales. Liam sent out Goodra and had him use Devastating Drake, blasting the Rockets away. Liam had Sherlock teleport him back to his friends where he described what had occurred and showed them the Kommonium Z, but stated that it did not fit his Z-Ring that Tapu Koko stole from Kahuna Hala to give him.

Note: I will be out of town Sep 13-15 at an anime convention. It's only like 20 min from my house, but I don't want to spend 40 minutes or more driving back and forth each day, so I'm staying there at the hotel. During those days, I may not post much if anything.

So, I say next we deal with the poachers, than Necrozma, Ryuki’s “Kantonian” Gym, maybe a few other random things and then the Alola league tournament. Sound good?

"I'll go next," Liam said stepping forward, Once Liam stopped, Slushie grabbed onto his leg affectionately. Liam looked down at Slushie and told hold him to watch the battle.
Hapu started off with Gastrodon and Liam sent out Bastille, the shiny Palosand with both Pokémon being called out simultaneously. Liam cursed his luck at the disadvantage and knew that he would have to act fast.
"Water Pulse!" Hapu called out. Gastrodon fired a ball of water toward the Sandcastle. the move hit and dealt a considerable amount of damage.
"Use Hypnosis!" Liam called. The attack failed and Hapu used Muddy Water. Bastille took the move and was now real low on health.
"Hypnosis again!" This time it worked and Gastrodon fell asleep. Gastrodon stayed asleep and Liam called for Giga Drain Gastrodon was zapped of around 75% of its health and Bastille was healed greatly from the move. Gastrodon woke up and tried to use Muddy Water again.
"Energy Ball!" Liam called. Bastille fired off his grass move, which collided with the Water Pulse, causing both of the attacks to negate one another.
"Mud Bomb!" Hapu called. The attack hit but did not do much, opening Liam up for a win with another Energy Ball. Hapu switched out Gastrodon for Golurk.
"Use Curse!" Both trainers said in unison. Both ghosts lowered their healths to put a curse on the opponent. After the damage from the curses, both of them were worse for wear, and this round would not last long.
"Shadow Punch," Hapu called.
"Quick, use Destiny Bond!" Liam called. Bastille connected its fate to the Golurk's. While Golurk KO'd Bastille, it dragged Golurk down with it. Both Pokémon were recalled. Hapu sent out Mudsdale and Liam sent out Kommo-o.
Hapu started off with a Z-Move. Her Mudsdale kicked the ground hard with its hindlegs and opened a fissure that Kommo-o fell into. Mudsdale leapt into the fissure after it and attacked more, sending him up and out of the Fissure.
"Not bad, but it's my turn now." Liam stated. He did a Z-move dance of his own to allow it to pull off Devastating Drake. Mudsdale was hurtby the move, but survived. It scored a critical hit with Double Kick and KO'd Kommo-o. Liam recalled the dragon and prepared to send out his final Pokémon, Robin the Decidyeue.
"Use Leaf Blade!" Liam called. The attack connected and gave Liam the win.

"So, who wants to take on the kahuna first?" Liam inquired.

"The Kahuna lives just around this bend," Liam commented.

The Bewear let them go and grabbed Meowth by the arm and dashed off again. Meowth could be heard calling out: "I'm off with a new blaaast." before Bewear vanished from the horizon. Liam collected the berries Bewear gave him. "So, shall we go on?"
