Liam saw another pillow sitting just in reach. He looked at it, but decided that yeah, as fun as it would be to join in, not even he would get the drop on Shiranui to pull it off.

Beckham's pillow attack landed and after receiving a pillow from Shiranui, Sogekishu struck back and the two Pokémon were locked in a pillow fight.
Liam found this interaction of the two adorable.
"Tell you what," Shiranui offered, "How about duelling pillows with Sogekishu?" He sent his Intelleon out.
Beckham lunged toward Sogekishu with the pillow in paw, and a mischevious smile.
Beckham was sad that he missed.
"Yeah, I'm not surprised Shiranui was able to evade that," Liam admitted.

Beckham hurried into the room and grabbed a pillow. While wearing a mischievous grin tried to sneak up on Shiranui to smack him with the pillow.
Liam thanked them for the room. He and Beckham bowed on respect.
"It is late, it might be best to stay here for the night," Liam agreed, thanking Mei for the offer.
Apparently, leaks from Scarlet and Violet are surfacing, at least according to Poketuber Austin John Plays. So Be careful on social media if you don't want spoilers everyone.
Liam bowed his head in respect for the passing of the Elder.
Liam and Beckham also shed some tears.
